I agree 100% Stephanie, the person that did this should be thrown out of the vehicle in the same manner in which the puppy was thrown out. I hope they find this idiot and prosecute him to the fullest. As cute as Lil' Chap is, he will get adopted in no time and I am glad to hear that he had no permanent injuries from it.

This is just a horrible act of cruelty, that person when found needs to be tossed into on coming traffic, and if he lives, he should be procacuted to the fullest extent of the law...
How much lower can people go???

We need a stiffer punishement for cruelty to animals. Maybe 10 years in prison and some anger management classes and that's minimum. The people who do this to animals have no right in our society. Lock them up and throw away the key. I hope they find this idiot and make an example out of him.

people who harm, torture, mutilate , savagely mistreat any animal are just " heartless dead people walking". they are damned spirits with no heart , compassions or convictions. I pray the person who did this is found out. Someone knows that puppy belonged to someone - is your neighbor, or friend suddenly missing their black male Lab puppy ? Tell the authorities - please. No animal deserves such cruel treatment. If you know something- report it. Do the right thing.

That guy is just plain sick and should be committed to a mental institution when found. I can't believe any sane person would even think to do something like this to an animal.

It is horrible what people are able to do. Someone should throw the person who did this out of a moving vehicle into traffic and see how they would like it. Thank heavens the little fellow was alright.

I agree with all of the above. It sickens me that this person is capable of hurting humans as he did this precious little puppy. My grandmother always said "watch how people treat animals and you'll get some idea how they treat humans" I have lived my life remembering her quote and it's never failed yet. He will get his. Paybacks are a b____!!!!!

I'm glad the little guy is alive and well. I hope TPB catch the creep. I was in Pa a few weeks ago with a friend. We were on the interstate, on the way home. We saw a large black dog that some one had dumped. We were able to call 911, and give TPB the exact location. I can only hope, they were able to pick him up before he got hit. I really do not understand why people do that. If you have a pet, that for whatever reason you can't keep, or don't want........please take them to a no kill shelter. If you can't do that, then you need to take them to the vet and have them humanely euthanized. A lot of people may disagree with that, but its better then throwing them into traffic, or leaving them by the road.

Unfortunately the animal rights wackos in this country have gotten so outta control, animal owners would rather take a chance on letting them lose or dumping them somewhere out of fear a neighbor will report them if they're euthanized on their property.
How come it's OK to take yer animal to the APL and pay $50 to kill it but it's not OK to chop its head off in the backyard? What's the difference except the $50?

"Wacko" should be used to describe the person who committed this heinous crime. That person intentionally wanted to kill a healthy, helpless pup in a truly brutal way. There's absolutely NO REASON for it -- the person could have just taken the pup to the APL who, by the way, does NOT euthanize animals unless they're too sick or injured to recover. And they never put an animal down because of time or space restraints. The animals stay until they're adopted.
As far as your "what's the difference" question -- it's all about humaneness, something every animal owner should display towards their pets, and something that seems to be (sadly) in short supply anymore.

Why on earth would anyone who had an animal they loved would even think of euthanizing that animal themselves!!! What kind of person are you????? You sound very vicious in your thinking. I feel sorry for any animals you might have.

I don't look at animals as something to love, that's a little disturbing.
I LOVE my mother, at best I may LIKE an animal.
Like most of the world, I look at animals as food or tools/components.

people that does this kind of act to an animal are just heartless and sick in the head. they should be put in jail for the amount of time as if they tossed a child out of a moving car.they have no concern for a life. hope this puppy will find a good loving family to love it, and help heal from the scars these sick sick people put it threw.
