Please know with the death of your son a piece of my heart dies too. My son is also a Marine serving in Afghan. and I know for sure these men are much braver than 99% of the population. Every single day their life is on the line for us.

May God bless David's family. Thank God there are men willing to protect our country. And may God protect America from those currently trying to destroy her.

Your Marine family sheds many tears for the loss of your brave son. Your David has joined his fallen brothers who are all seated at the right hand of the Father.
May you find comfort in knowing that your 1/5 Marine family and friends lift you up in prayer and will be at the services to offer support.
He was quite a remarkable young man, son and Marine.
