This one blows me away. It's not some gusty reporter spinning a story straight from the sky.

My heart goes out to all those people in Lake Township area. Especially to the families of those who lost their lives, and are missing. May God comfort you all. As for all you seniors your day will come and it will be a day of celebration. It just won't be on this day.

Wood county, Lake Township. Is that not also Bowling Green, Ohio? I'm curious.

Bowling Green is south of Lake Township. Wood County is right outside of Toledo.

I'm from the area (Toledo proper) and my boyfriend lives in Millbury, which was hit very badly. We were in Columbus when we found out that his house had been blown off of its foundation. Thankfully everyone he knows made it through (and i am certainly glad he was with me at the time), but its definitely sad and traumatic. Many people we know have homes that took damage and its just crazy to think that his old high school is practically gone. Many of us are banding together to help the families out there...I am confident they'll get through and rebuild.

Went there yesterday. It is so sad to see that this can really happen. Pictures don't justify the realness of the disater.

I saw the devastation on the news and was in tears. It looked like a war zone. God bless all who parished and I pray for strength for all who survived and have to go on with their lives. I could never have survived, mentally. Be strong.
Love to all and God Bless!

I lived through Ike a couple years ago. We had boats in the roads, flooding all over the place and no electricity for 10 days (some did without longer). Storm damage of any kind is horrible.
