It has finally been reported by the media that Lillian Castro, aka Lillian Rodriguez, Matriarch-Mother of the three Castro Brothers is a JEHOVAH'S WITNESS. Ariel Castro even took to her home the daughter that he fathered with one of the kidnapped victims.

A quick Google search yields other Castro families in the greater Cleveland area who are JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES.

Does anyone know whether any of Lillian Castro's three Sons, or even the girl fathered by Ariel Castro, ever attended a local Cleveland area Kingdom Hall along with Lillian Castro-Rodriguez?

Anyone ever have any of this Castro Clan knock on their door with WATCHTOWERs?

It does in a twisted sort of way. The explanation is that Ariel Castro will be baptized many times over the rest of his natural life...in his ass by all the inmates who are waiting for his brown hole to arrive.

I don't see the connection. In fact, it sounds the mother was the only one who had no problems with the law.

Anyone sufficiently IGNORANT to believe that it is impossible for there to be a connection between Ariel Castro's heinous behavior and his mother's WatchTower religion needs to spend a couple of days reading all the search results that are returned when you google the keyterms "jehovah's", "childen", "mental healh", and "crime".

I read somewhere that Ted Bundy's mother was a Methodist. Was the Methodist church responsible for his killing spree? That just doesn't make sense.

This woman and her beliefs don't have nothing to do with this horrible situation and she's not to blame for her evil sick son or sons. What I don't agree is her allowing the other 2 slobs and parasites to live with her and maintain them and all those 2 do is drink like a fish. She should have put these 2 grown men on out on the street, let them find a job and survive on their on 2 feet. She should know better what the Bible says about enabling the lazy to continue to be lazy!!!

"It was Phillip Garrido's status as a long-time practicing Jehovah's Witness, plus his marriage to a life-long practicing Jehovah's Witness, that undoubtedly played a significant role in his gaining early parole in 1988".

Simply google the quoted phrase to read about Phillip and Nancy Garridos connection to the WatchTower religion.

That is utter nonsense. We do not allow the Jehovah Witnesses to run anything other than door to door sales and election canvassing.

Jehovah's Witnesses are not a religion. Leading Cult Experts say it's a cult. In the cult there are a large amount of mentally unstable people. There's a big problem with molestation among it's members. Ariel Castro says he was molested by his uncle. With in the cult women and children are in subjection to men. Other famous abductor's have been JWs.

I hope Ariel Castro also gets 400 years, maybe more because of the babies he murdered.

Blame "Watchtower Bible And Tract Society Inc" for the darkness amidst Jehovah's Witnesses. It's not the fault of regular JWs but of Watchtower which has a written policy for protecting and hiding pedophiles to the harm and endangerment of kids (also shelters abusers of women) as proved in 2012 in a California trial by jury, the Candace Conti case. Watchtower going through appeals but highly unlikely to get the $11 million judgment against it overturned since their policy as said was put in writing.

Castro will/is going to say ANYTHING to find an excuse for what he done to those girl's/women. Idiots such as he ALWAYS wanna fall back on their childhood, even if it meant they were molested by monkeys!! There is simply NO excuse whatsoever for what he did to those women except for being cruel, demonic, and an absolute sicko! Death is to good for him, he needs to be hung in the street for ALL to see!! I'm sure he will get just a little bit of what he done to those poor women in prison, that is if the system doesn't try to protect his dumbass!! I say turn him over to those victims families and let them do with him what they please!!

It was reported that Ariel Castro even occasionally attended an area church while holding the three women and one child captive. Why no mention of that church or its responsibility? I see only digging into the religion of the mother, with questionable motives of those making the accusations.

Just a quick note which I hope you all will research for accuracy----then get back to me----EVERY serial killer of the late 20th century in the US was RAISED in a christian family of some sort----the repression of reality is most probably the sparking influence of the delusional minds that perpetrated these acts without conscious. The christian seems willing to blame even the least exposure to any other "cult" (in castro's case--pornography) as a certain place to lay blame (another staple of christian dogma---blame somebody---ELSE for our own actions) Questionable motives claimed by one respondent---no more questionable than anybody elses when looking into origins of monster mentality, and I think, more relevant than most.

Wow, really? I was raised JW, was never molested by any witnesses, never knew anyone who was in the 6 or more congregations I have attended...was never assaulted either...cults follow and venerate human beings like Jim Jones and David Koresh...JW's venerate God and Jesus, just like other Christian religions claim to do. In addition, we try to live by bible principals as we understand then...like no killing, no adultery, no stealing...basic morality...we are only human, don't claim to be perfect or to have all the answers...and unlike most religions, we admit when we're wrong and adjust our thinking accordingly...as a whole, JW's are not out to hurt people, but are trying to help people live clean, morally responsible lives. We don't force our beliefs on others, but we are not shy about sharing then either...just like Jesus. There are a lot of bad things in this ugly world, but you can't blame them all on JWs or God...or even Satan...at some point, personal choice must be considered.

If PIXNI had half a brain Pixni would understand that the church that Ariel Castro regularly attended was in all likelihood his Mother's Kingdom Hall.
