Amazing. They would have had this guy if they didn't fall him point the finger at two black guys in Aruba.

He and his rich buddies fled when the authorities took the bait.

And now he's involved with another murder of a young girl. I hope he gets what he deserves. He appears to have very little respect for others, and probably feels he's above "the peasants" he's dealing with.

Oh don't worry...they don't mess around in Peru. The judges wear black hoods to protect their identity. They'll lock him up in some prison --way way up--in the freezing cold Andes. I hope he freezes to death.

I think these princesses see that Big Dutch Boy and want him and when they get him he's to much for them to handle. I'm sorry for their deaths, but you hop in the sac with some one you hardly know and he turns out to be a Serial Killer.

The truth is that Joran probably scene the movie AMERICAN PSYCHO one to many times and probably thought in his stupid little brain that he could be the real life version.but instead of being American Psycho he would be DUTCH PSYCHO.

Whoever killed that girl back in Aruba obviously did a good job of disposing of the body and covering their tracks.
However, from what I hear about this case in Peru, they found the girls body in Mr. Sloot's hotel room, after he checked out, and on the 5th anniversary of the 1st murder. Considering they found a dead girl in his hotel room, they obviously need to detain the guy and make him a suspect, but the pattern doesn't fit the first murder he was accused of. Killing a girl in your hotel room and then leaving the body behind is stupid, and whatever else this guy may be, he doesn't seem stupid. It's as if somebody wanted the girl to be found in order to make a point. Maybe it was this same guy, but then again, maybe it was somebody else. There are a lot of crazy people in this world.

Hopefully, Van der Sloot will get bumped off by other inmates in a Peruvian prison.

How would YOU explain the FACT that he is seen ON HOTEL VIDEO entering the room alone with the girl (HE BEAT TO DEATH) and then is seen several hours later leaving the room ALONE? Until her body was found, NO ONE else LEFT his room or ENTERED it. SOOOOOO, maybe you need to hear a little more about the case!!!!

This scumbag thinks he's above the law and I think leaving the poor girl's body in his hotel room was just his way of flaunting that. He's probably been getting away with murder for many years and I think he believes he'll get away with this murder, too. I hope he's tortured beyond imagination over the next 5 years...

Because that's how long the Holloway family has been tortured wondering about their daughter. Honestly, I'd really like to see him suffer for a very long time. I also don't think he deserves to live though. If he were in the U.S. I would say kill him because our prisons would be too good for him. If what I hear about Peruvian prisons is correct, it may be the perfect place for him to spend the rest of his life.

I don't personally give a damn about Mr. Van Der Sloot, my interests are purely intellectual. The hotel video footage is compelling evidence, and they definately need to detain this guy. However, there are more ways to enter or exit a hotel room than just the front door. If someone premeditated to set this guy up, then it can easily be pulled off. There are all kinds of crazy people and motives out there.
Assuming here did kill the girl, this murder doesn't fit the pattern of Miss Holloway's murder. In the first case the body went missing, but in this case they body was left behind in his hotel room where it could easily be found.

This amounts to a crime of passion because he returned to his room only to find the girl reading from his laptop. In his sobbing confession to the murder he said that she had read information which would confirm his direct involvement in the Aruba case. Then he went off, and beat her to death.

Peru has no death penalty and no life sentences. This is too bad because he deserves either of the two, but I'm guessing that if he serves out his sentence in any population within the prison, rather than in solitary, he will be killed by a Peruvian vigilante. I give him less than a year to make the headlines one last time.

Someone can get the death penalty in Peru if they kill a police officer OR commit treason during war. I do not want him to be put to death because I would rather him suffer. I hope he gets the FULL 35 years, but he will be killed by another prisoner, I am sure!

I heard now that if the murder happened along with robbery, he is eligible for a life sentence in Peru. Anyone have info on that? Regardless, he needs to be in gen-pop and get what's coming to him. The idea that he's even trying to negotiate with information on Natalie Holloway is absurd. Everything out of his mouth is a lie with just a hint of truth to it and everyone knows it. Unfortunately we may never really know what happened to Natalie unless the Kalpoe brothers come forward with info and I just don't see that happening. I pray that the families of his victims find peace somehow.
