April 17--Last Monday, a widely reported account of fare dodgers on the metro's light-rail lines surfaced during a Minnesota House Transportation Policy and Finance committee meeting. Rep. Mark Uglem, R-Champlin, introduced an amendment to the transportation funding bill ordering the Metropolitan Council to find a solution about passengers who don't pay their fares.

Correct, if you watch Legislator every year the Met Council, the commies, have to beg for $150,000,000 to keep each LRT line operating. Of course that doesn't include the rail tax on property taxes AND a portion of the MVST we all pay on purchace of a car.

Met Council should be dissolved!!!

All the public transit should be fee based and if it's don't pay for its operation shut it down...
