I viseted your store today and was very dissappointed in your sales practices. You have a rack of shoes along the back wall marked 50-75% OFF THE "ORIGINAL LOW PRICE." One of the examples of many I saw had a yellow tag marked $50.00. Next to it was a price tag that had been attempted to be removed. That tag read $39.??. What a farce of salesmanship for you to take advantage of your customers. I hope that many see this and refuse to purchase from your store.

SHAME ON YOU. THIS BORDERS ON FALSE ADVERTISING AND CROSSES THE LINE TO UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES.

staff was very helpful, but was still dissapointed in the prices. There are other stores in the area that have them beat by $40 to $50 cheaper for apples to apples comparison.

I just wanted to let everyone know I had a great experience at this store. Everyone was helpful, kind and knowledgeable. The prices were less than other shoe stores in the area and I know prices. I love shoes. So you need to shop here for all your shoes.

There is no other store in the area that is even close when comparing price and selection. What is even better is the online store where you can save even more money at www.housershoes.com Comparing prices, I would say you will save from 20%-80% buying at the GB Shoe Warehouse as well. It is the only place I go anymore, to buy shoes as other stops to the smaller stores in the area is just a waste of time.

I went to the GB Shoe on Asheville Highway....
man-o-man -- what a store.-- GB has everyone beat on prices- hands down. I bought a pair of Dansko for $25 off the back wall and saved $75
-- boy was I excited -- I will definatly go back there.

I googled G.B. Shoes to get the phone number and found these comments. The first 3 are ridiculous. This is a great store with excellent prices and they also have a preferred customer program that gives even better prices. They also send coupons for even more savings. My family and I are very happy to have G.B. Shoes in the Hendersonville area. By the way, I read the history of the company on the housershoes.com website and now that I know G.B. Shoes is locally owned, I will do all my shopping there.

Sounds like a competing company trying to get a jab in to me. When I compared products online with www.gbshoewarehouse.com , I found that GB Shoes actually has lower prices on many products. I was also disappointed with the small brand selection at ZBSports compared to that available at GB Shoes. My business is staying with GB Shoes in Hendersonville!

I agree with Tom because I have been to the GB Shoes store in Hendersonville 3 times in the last 2 months and I have never found anything but really good prices. In fact, most of their prices are better than that company that Amazon just bought.

Tom is also right about their website prices - about 90% of their shoes are the lowest you can find. Check for yourself www.housershoes.com

And about that comment - what store manager in their right mind is going to leave a lower price on the tag than the marked down price? Seriously. Now they might have reused a tag from something else, but I doubt it.

I realized that you can get to GB Shoes (which is owned by Houser Shoes, Inc.) by going to either www.gbshoewarehouse.com or www.housershoes.com

If you live in SC, NC, TN, KY or GA you can go to the locations button and find out where the stores are in your state. Oh, and you can sign up for the drawing to get a new pair of shoes. They do it every 2 weeks. Of course you are also going to get their promotional emails, something like 1 every 2 to 3 weeks, but hey it is worth it to me for a chance to get a free pair of shoes.

Stick with ZBsports, they have way better prices and a great selection. I have shopped with them for years at zbsports.com and had no idea that they were right here in Hendersonville...totally cool store!

I visited this store a couple of months ago looking for a Naturalizer shoe and found it in my size for $59.00. Then went to Belk in Waynesville, NC and found it for $35.00! They did have some unique brands, but very high prices.

Horrible customer service. Very rude associates. Definately not worth the overprices you will pay. I had a question about a pair of uggs and tried to approach three different associates only to leave the shoes behind because of the treatment I received. I even talked to a manager and didn't get an apology. Shame on them.
