2 team buses driving through the country- 1 PU, 1 IU, as they pass a sheep farm the IU players look out at the sheep and say "man, I wish they were cheerleaders." As the PU bus passes players hang out the windows moaning..."boy, I wish it was night!"

I would much-rather attend a university who's alum's have planted flags on the Moon than hung banners in a gymnasium.

I can relate to this article and some of the jokes.

My brother went (and actually graduated, ha!) from IU. I went to Purdue, on the six-year plan.

My wife got her master's from Purdue, then worked there for eight years. She has spent the past eight years working for IU. Since they send her a pay-check once a month, I've had to quit bad-mouthing them so much!

Now my daughter is an undergrad at IU. I'm taking her to the game on Saturday, where we'll set in the PU student section. I'm seeing the therapist this week to decide what color to wear to the game!!

Looks like “go hoosiers” got his panties in a bunch just because his obvious short comings were pointed out. By the way, just because your school is named after the state, does not make it great. Most states have universities named after them, but there is only one Purdue!

I dated a Purdue grad once.
She said she wanted me to kiss her where it stinks,
So,
I took her to Ross-Ade Stadium.

In about 1970 I begged two tickets to the bucket game at IU and took my bride to be. We had two seats one in front of the other in the second and third row on the 50 yard line. In front of us in the first row were two gals who had to have been 90 years old. When the band played the IU alma mater, they both stood and sang every word of every verse. When the band played the Purdue alma mater, they both stood again and sang every word of every verse of that song, too. I don't remember who won the game.

One is ugly, stands in the grass, and is totally useless,

And the other is a lawn ornament.

Hey man..... why don't you go take some English lessons? There are ONLY 26 letters! You're giving the Purdue people too much ammo...

Good one, Ron! I especially liked the Hoosiers' usage of the subjunctive mood, which has never been heard of in Tippecanoe Co.:-)
