Slashed bus tires

Friday morning i received a call from a friend asking me to turn on The Libby Collins Radio Show, which is where I listened to her inform the public about the tires on 2 rows of ZION school busses being slashed. Unfortunately I had to hear this on the radio, because no local newspaper though it was important enough to cover or follow up on, NOT the Lake County News Sun or the Daily Herald, as it's Monday now and still no printed news. In my humble opinion, this is something the general public should know. Why do the lake county newspapers not cover ZION news? So much happens here, it would provide a plethra of news and information. Too bad we are left in the dark so much by the local media.

I heard that also, mouths were shut tight round Zion. Supposedly it turns out that the busses tires were only deflated by letting the air out, not slashed, as reported on Libby Collins show, seems she was getting her info from a lady who was at the scene, given bad info or just mixed up apparently.

Sorry about any misinformation, the tires were slashed. Jones School Bus Company purchased 12 new tires to replace the ones that were ruined. This information is based on an insurance claim thet was recently filed with the State.
