Could this be yet ANOTHER questionable financial hole being dug for the taxpayers of zion? Why are there so many confidentialty agreements between the city and developers?

WHY NO SUNSHINE ON THE DOINGS OF ZION CITY HALL???

From CBS Chicago Jan 4, 2012

Zion Mayor Pro Tem Jim Taylor acknowledge that Ochoa was in the room. But when Taylor asked if anyone wished to comment, no one spoke up. Before adjourning, Taylor claimed he knew nothing about Ochoa’s plan.

“We know nothing about it and we are not going to have any discussion of that here tonight,” he said.

Yet, according to the Zion newspaper dated 12-29-2011, Taylor says he, Detienne & larry Pannell had met with ochoa and received an update on her plans for a project in zion.

What is going on here? It appears as though somebody's not telling the whole truth.

Me thinks some digging needs to be done!

Precisley, the problem in zion is that the city officials don't really want to help the community, they want to help themselves.

I agree with the job issue and delisle, it appears the only jobs created at the hotel were for delaine and her family, friends & cronies (some already have jobs and business').

So why wasn't this ochoa woman allowed to speak, it's a public meeting.
Why did pro tem mayor say he didn't know anything about this meeting or subject?

hmm that's a good question? Ochoa is known for the regional tournaments, my nephew has been part of there summer camp, they have been trying to develop something great? I have not herd anything about what plans , I know the Ochoa Senior is part of FiFA USA.

She was afforded the opportunity to speak during citizen's comments, but chose not to.

The mayor pro tem did not know anything about this beacause it was not on the agenda

He KNEW about the project,(he met with her before)although he claims he didn't know anything about this project, WHY IS THAT?

Newspaper said she was told by a council member NOT TO BRING THE SUBJECT UP. why so much secrecy at city hall?

This can't be business as usual can it?
