Mitt Romney continues to lead in the Delegate race for the Republican Presidential Nomination with a total of 59 delegates gathered through three decisive wins and two strong second place finishes in the early state contests. Huckabee is in second place in the delegate count with 40 and only one win. McCain is third with 36 delegates and two wins.
Romney is the only candidate who seriously campaigned in all of the Republican contests to date. His strategy to mount a cohesive, committed campaign in every state leading up to the National Convention is proving to be a wise decision. It is reflective of his experience in turning companies around in the private sector. He is also the only candidate who can pull economic, social, and strong national defense conservatives together to defeat the democrat candidate in November.
