This has got to be the saddest thing in the world. This is so scary because the killer or killers are on the loose and have been for 10 years! That means they have hurt other children.
Are the police and family still searching? If I was the family I would be searching every single day until the killers where behind bars or dead.
It just makes me so furious beyond words, that this sicko is on the loose.

I lived in the same neighborhood as her just a few houses down in fact, and went to the same school & was in the same grade as her. i still remember that day i walked outside to see police cars surrounding the house and crime scene tape.i still think the parents had something to do with it.

Bigi, You are a complete idiot!!Keep your stupid thoughts and comments to yourself!! The family was all cleared from any kind of invovlement!
Who in the world do you think you are?? Do you even know how hard it is to try to continue with life? Then we have people like you that make such ignorant comments!!!

I don't remember you Bigj. my sister was her best friend and I was friends with her sisters. I remember that horrific morning, detail to detail. I will not talk bad of her family out of respect, although I'm pretty sure some know way more about what happened than what they are leading on to. VITAL INFORMATION was given the morning of the incident. I really hope the police listened and actually checked into it. ALSO when a person should be mourning the death of a loved one they should not be out partying and laughing their asses off threw a drive threw window. ALSO when a person said they were in Mexico for a few days when the incident happened, BULLSHIT your vehicle was parked out front of the house that night and was seen! I'm sorry Amberly that you were taking at such a young age, I pray that your killer is found and persecuted!!! God will judge that person in the end!!! We miss and think of you everyday...

Whoa sorry didn't mean to offend anyone. I made this comment a while back based off what I heard. I don't know the whole facts about the case so I should have not made that comment my apologies. Do know one thing though, we had a man try to break into our place shortly before this incident took place. I was Amberlys age and lived about two streets down. My cousin saw the man and chased him off. Don't know if the two are connected or not but there's always that possibility.:-/

When I heard the story about Amberly I immediately thought of the little girl Isabel Celis that was taken from her home through a window in Tucson, Arizona. I wonder if there are any connections? Very similar cases.

I also agree... I believe the family had something to do with it.

Not similar at all. One is a sexual assault/murder with DNA evidence. The other is an abduction. One has a body, the other doesn't.
