It figures Hawkins is throwing another fit because he isnt getting his way. The sad part is that Canadian County citizens are the ones who have to pay for his little childish fits.

A friend of my husband is currently a deputy for hawkins and can't stand him, he says hawkins calls himself a "benevolent dictator," He said Hawkins had a meeting after the jail got voted down and said he will no longer accept DUI's in his jail or anything which does not constitute a MAJOR FELONY, and the citizens of Canadian county will be sorry they ever voted "his" jail down. I guess you have to kill somebody to go to jail in Canadian county now.

A friend of my Husband is a Deputy for hawkins and absolutely can't stand him, he said hawkins calls himself "The Benevolent Dictator." As for a "no vacancy" sign on the jail, Hawkins had a meeting after the jail got voted down and said he will no longer accept prisoners who are not major felons, that DUI's and the such are no longer a cause to arrest or be put in "his jail" and the citizens of Canadian County will be sorry they ever disagreed with him.
