How sad would it be to risk your own life trying to save someone, only to realize that the person is a worthless human being who deserves his fate? I'm glad that no one else was hurt and I hope this poor woman recovers.

RIGO WAS A WONDERFUL KIND HEARTED MAN THAT GOT PUSHED BEYOND HIS LIMITS THANKS TO A VERY UGLY DIVORCE.
WHAT ABOUT HIS TWO POOR SONS WHO WILL HAVE TO LIVE WITH ALL OF THIS DRAMA FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES.
RIGO DID NOT DESERVE YOUR COMMENTS WHEN YOU DIDN'T KNOW HIM AS A PERSON.
IT'S SAD THAT PEOPLE JUDGE WITHOUT KNOWING...WHAT IF IT WAS YOU OR SOMEONE IN YOUR FAMILY?

I am an acquaintance of the victim's family. I will be sure that the authorities are aware that Rigo's nephew just publicly threatened his victim. You are a fool if you think the Internet is anonymous. It is my understanding that Rigo had a problem with alcoholism, drugs and abusing his wife. Everyone can understand the stress of dealing with addiction, relationships, money problems, etc. However, there can never be an excuse for seeking out your child's mother with the intention of killing her while your child watches. I can understand that your family has suffered a loss. I just hope you can put the situation in perspective and hold Rigo responsible for his actions instead of blaming his victim.

Rigo was a good guy and doesn't deserve any of the crap u people are saying I dnt care wat you people have to say, if u didn't know him, please keep your personnal opinions to yourself... as we all know everyone makes mistakes in life and even though what he did was very unfogiveable, everyone makes mistakes and he made the poor decision to end it with his life. Which was a poor decision of his part. Now again I don't know exactly what went on in between the couple but i am sure she probably had as much 2 do withit as he did. Now it's all over, and there is no one else 2 blame or point fingers at because Rigo is gone, and what you people are sayong is weak and pathetic because no one in life deserves death no matter what!! I will pray for his ex-wife and family 2 let go of this hard damage that this has caused and I pray that Rigo made it to a better place =] R>.I.P Rigo Salazar

From what i saw of this man he seemed to be a nice guy. I feel for the kids. I watched their oldest son grow-up at Las Fajitas. We had been going there for 10 years and he was always so polite. My heart goes out to him and his family. Thanks for the memories.

Divorce can bring out the never-before-seen ugly side of both people, unfortunately.

While it's never OK for someone to shoot a gun at another person, I can certainly understand how a person might arrive to that level when it involves somebody which they're in a relationship with.

It's very possible for people to verbally, mentally & emotionally drive others to become so frustrated without ever laying a hand on them physically. Especially when they know which "buttons" to push. It's unfortunate that they appear to be the victim once something eventually occurs.

Do not fixate on the negativity, but instead focus on the individual good memories.

One act, unfortunate as it was, does not define who that person was. The lifetime of memories which people have is what makes up the totality of that person's life.

I'm sorry that you feel that way especially because you didn't know him. However time will make justice for rigo because only god knows the hell he lived trying to survive with his wife. How would you feel if you found out that your son whom you love very much isn't yours? I sure am glad you didn't save him because he is resting and is no longer being tormented by that evil magaly who called herself his wife. had you known the whole story you wouldn't be saying this. because if there was one thing rigo was it was a loving father and husband while it lasted.his wife of 18 years cheated on him and still tried to squeeze all the money she could out of him. few days after she got out of the hospital she showed up at the restaurant to take all the merchandise that was left. And yet speaks badly of the man who put her through college and gave her yearly vacations. but i guess her ambitions were way higher. know i ask you to please let his soul rest in peace you are no one to judge you didn't him and only god can decide the FATE for us. Thank you!

its funny how you people judge without really knowing a person but what is gonna be funniest is how you are going to be judged and not by us the people but by the powerful one above!

just think people he didn't go out looking to shoot that woman she came while we were working and started her drama like always. she was provoking rigo and he just couldn't take it anymore it was to much. it was like he wasn't himself anymore he couldn't see the reality anymore. he looked as if he were hypnotized and only wanted to end the horror. i feel so bad you guys didn't see what we did every time she picked a fight it was almost as if she wanted him dead. she wanted to see him crazy. she went beyond the limit that day over money. she always created so much drama and always said she was the victim and i guess she is happy now. just think she came to the restaurant, for what why did she come? didn't she have the restraining order on him? why did she insist on making scenes well she is on good actor! don't let yourselves be fooled. the victim does call itself a victim it makes itself a victim. and only time will give us answers and i will pray for her because she has got a lot to be sorry for that i can only pity her soul because we all know god is mighty just!

It's funny how people come here and drop their comments like it really matters now that he is gone. The truth of the matter is that Rigo was simply crying out for help, in his own way, but he really was. He had a LOT OF FRIENDS (including me), but none of us really heard his crying, we were too busy in our own little word that we just wouldn't listen. I know for a fact that by the end he tried to contact so many people, just to talk, just to share some of all the pain he was feeling inside. He just wanted some company, he was really lonely (rounded by HIS FRIENDS!!). He is gone, he is finally resting, that is all he really wanted, peace, and of course, he is in good company now. R.I.P Rodrigo Salazar, thank you for everything. Que Dios te tenga en su gloria...
