When we were looking for health insurance many moons back BCBS would take us but would not cover anything that had to do with sinus problems because my husband had a really bad cold not sinus or allergy problems. This company is doing the most in cancelling people policies.
You're right, we need to return to the good
ole free enterprise days when BCBS could turn
down preexisting conditions and issue nearly
worthless catastrophic policies.

We need to be able to be fooled into buying
coverage that benefits only the company.
BCBS is cancelling most of its individually
written policies. Better are now available
in the Exchanges.

Yes, the Republicansalso forgot to tell you about is that no insurance company can now deny a person insurance because of a pre-existing medical condition. You now can buy that insurance policy. Also an insurance company can not deny a person insurance because of a mental illnessbe, pregnancy, can not charge a lady more that a male because of her gender. Of course they did that before OBAMA CARE CAME INTO EXISTENCE.

Sitting on Harry Reid's desk for the last 3 years but I don't know if it is any better than what we ended up with in ObamaCare since it was never debated.

Watched the Kathleen Sebelius Hearing and then I watched Obama's speech in Boston. The only thing they both said was the website was a disappointment and they were working to correct it.
Other than that Obama's Boston speech sounded a lot like his campaign speech. But he did say that millions would get cheaper healthcare like 2 men who could purchase a plan for 50.00 or maybe 100.00 per month.
Has anyone heard of anyone else who got ObamaCare for premiums of 50.00 or 100.00 a month without some kind of major subsidies? I haven't. What kind of bronze plan would that be what is the deductible and co-pays?
So either Obama is lying again or he knows of a plan I never heard of before!

Since Juat is such a Bill Maher fan, I thought I could brighten her morning with this's.
The GOP voting base is majority Tea Party voters
This is why they're terrified of Ted Cruz.
BILL MAHER: But if you’re asking about Ted Cruz and being president, I think I, I don't know what her answer was on that, but I think he’s got a shot because I think he has an absolute shot at the nomination. He is definitely going to be the favorite of the people who vote in Republican primaries. I mean, we saw what it looked like last time and the time before. But the problem with the Republican primaries last time for them is that they didn't have a Ted Cruz in there. That's why they went with Mitt Romney. Remember, they tried every other person, every other Republican got a shot at being number one: Newt Gingrich and Herman Cain and Rick Perry…
PIERS MORGAN, HOST: Michele Bachmann.
MAHER:…but they were all like even too ridiculous and lame for the Tea Party. But Ted Cruz is a Harvard educated lawyer. He’s not a dummy.
MORGAN: Right, no, Alan Dershowitz sat here and told me one of the brightest students he’d ever had.
MAHER: Okay.
MORGAN: So you can't underestimate it.
MAHER: No, you cannot underestimate it, and he knows exactly how to get those people’s votes. He has played it exactly right. He is their hero. He's the guy they think finally stood up to the establishment and did what he said and went to Washington and blah, blah, blah. So he's going to be very difficult to beat in the primaries.
MORGAN: Could it be him against Chris Christie?
MAHER: It probably will be.
MORGAN: Who will prevail?
MAHER: You know, if it's the primary voters who vote every time, I think it’ll be Ted Cruz. Chris Christie may already be toast because during Hurricane Sandy, he put his arm around President Blackenstein, Piers.
MORGAN:[Laughs]
MAHER: I mean, he's already got Kenya cooties. He may not be able to run at all. So, yeah he's suspect. He’s from the northeast and he’s once in a while said things that make sense. So, I mean.
MORGAN: Instantly rule him out.
MAHER: Yeah, he could be ruled out already.
It is indeed fascinating that despite how many liberal media members totally despise Cruz, they see him as a serious presidential candidate.
Fox Paid $1.25 for this rant.

Fox News---We Deceive, You Believe.

It has been revealed that Fox News does practice using paid commenters with fake social media accounts, to deceive the online community. Members of Foxs online PR staff created between twenty and a hundred fake profiles on social media accounts each. The accounts are used by PR staff in order to push the stations extreme right-wing agenda.

The point of these fake commenters is not just to push a specific agenda. Its also to deceive the unsuspecting public about the actual amount of support that exists for that agenda. Paid commenters use vicious attacks against anyone who posts an opposing opinion. Eventually the attacks have the effect of driving people with opposite views away from the targeted sites. This allows them to dominate the web with their fake profiles, while at the same time discouraging real people from participating in the discussion.

The right-wing agenda being pushed by these paid commenters, hired by Fox and other sources, doesnt just include tax breaks for the rich and the myth of corporate person-hood. It includes racism, sexism, homophobia, hatred of the poor and much more.

Meet Doctor Marc Siegel.
What kind of doctor complains about people having too much access to health care? A doctor whos on the payroll of Fox News in the age of Obamacare.

On The Hannity show last night, yet another in a zillion Fox News segments designed to trash the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare), Fox News contributor Dr. Marc Siegel revealed that his number one concern was not how well the ACA covers his patients or even how affordable it is but that too many people will wind up with health insurance. And that inconveniences him and the haves he treats.

Siegel said:

Before they started this, we were all in trouble with insurance to begin with. Theres too much health insurance. It covers too much. Too many people have it and they cant in my office to see me. Im full.I cant see all these people.

Theres a shortage of doctors. So what do they do? Theyre going to pay us less.

So the answer is less health care? So Dr. Siegel wont be inconvenienced and/or get paid less? Doesnt this violate the Hippocratic Oath?

President Barack Obama's approval rating has plummeted to an "all-time low," according to a new NBC/Wall Street Journal poll released on Wednesday night.

The president's approval rating stands at just 42 percent as problems with Obamacare and concerns over NSA spying persist. Meanwhile, 51 percent disapprove of his job in office, which ties his all-time high in that category.

"The NBC/WSJ pollsters argue that no single reason explains Obama's lower poll standing," NBC News' Mark Murray writes. "Rather, they attribute it to the accumulation of setbacks since the summer -- allegations of spying by the National Security Agency, the debate over Syria's chemical weapons, the government shutdown and now intense scrutiny over the problems associated with the health care law's federal website and its overall implementation."

In another first, Obama's personal ratings are "upside-down," NBC News reports. Just 41 percent view him as favorable while 45 percent view him negatively, according to the poll.

Obamacare also saw a dip in popularity, with 47 percent saying its a "bad idea" and only 37 percent saying it's a good idea.

Not surprised. Today AP is reporting that numbers for navigators/call centers to assist in the New York Brooklyn area were incorrectly listed and instead people were getting a bakery, deli, skin care salon among other businesses. The lady that owned the bakery said she had over 100 calls and it disrupted her day. I bet it did.

Kentucky Governor touting his state's enrollment numbers for ObamaCare. This grand number was even part of the official record during the Kathleen Sebelius Hearing today.

26,000 enrolled and he said the state's exchange is working fine.

What he didn't include in the official record is of the 26,000 enrolled 21,000 were enrolled in Medicaid.

Those numbers should be reversed for any hope to make this program viable healthcare in the future.
