There is a certain wage bracket that will get it paid for by the government and a certain wage bracket that will get help paying for healthcare by the government which is any person that does pay taxes. The the same people will stay on medicaid and the government plans to add more to the list. so not all will be paying their own healthcare bill!

Go ahead and keep voting the whites out of office, in a few years the U.S. will be worse than some third world African country.

Dumbazz he was talking about "sense" as in most people have more sense than to pay 4 or 5 times for a cup of coffee.

This is funny as hell to watch as Obamacare begins to derail. Although the major provisions of the Affordable Care Act won’t take effect until next year, the first cars are already beginning to derail in this legislative train wreck. Funnier is Unions realize what many employers have seen coming since the law passed: The legislation will drive up the cost of health insurance, rather than drive it down. Although these idiots enthusiastically backed the Affordable Care Act at the time, the reality of rising costs has driven them to beg the Obama administration for government subsidies to union workers. The Union leaders point out that for workers, losing union-negotiated health insurance would undermine one of the central points of joining a union in the first place. Now these idiots want the rest of us to subsidize this for them.

Meanwhile, the Treasury has issued regulations applying the Affordable Care Act’s rules regarding workplace-provided insurance to only the cost of covering the employee’s health care, not to the cost of covering other family members. This would only require employers to act on information they actually know, which is much more practical, but which means workers’ children and family members, may be left without an option they can afford. The result as the law’s advocates are finally realizing, is that families that do not qualify for programs like Medicaid may remain uncovered. So much for universal health coverage.

These problems are only the beginning. Since the law requires insurers to accept practically all applicants regardless of their health, sick people will always seek coverage, while healthy ones will often opt to do without the expense. This phenomenon of “adverse selection,” as actuaries call it, will simply drive insurance premiums still higher, leading even more people to choose to go without coverage and more employers to abandon it, even if doing so triggers penalties. The law’s penalties for individuals who choose to go without coverage are effectively toothless. For many people it will just make good economic sense to risk the penalty.

Employers, like individuals, will face penalties under the new law for failing to provide coverage with more than 50 full-time employees. Employers are limiting hiring or reducing employees’ hours to avoid the mandate. And even when employers decide to shoulder ever-rising insurance costs, those same employers will have less money for other forms of compensation. It’s a trade-off many employees are beginning to notice. Many Americans believe health insurance is something they get free. But employers pay lower wages because they provide insurance.

The former director of the Congressional Budget Office, Peter R. Orszag, told Congress the same thing when it required employers to report insurance costs on employees’ W-2 forms.“The economic evidence is overwhelming, that when your firm pays for your health insurance, you pay through reduced take home pay. As Americans prepare for the full force of the Affordable Care Act to take effect next year, many are only now beginning to realize how profoundly wrong the “affordable” part of the name will prove. Wishful thinking was enough to get the law passed in 2010, but it won’t change the reality when the law takes effect in 2014.

Free healthcare coverage is only going to apply if a person or a family falls into a certain wage bracket like just making a little more that keeps them out of medicaid. They will be more people added to medicaid. And there will be the wage bracket just above the bracket that the government will pay for that will get a percent of payment toward paying for healthcare. So what does it mean when people are on medicaid and also get help paying for healthcare by the government? So we will be buying healthcare coverage for alot of people plus dealing with the higher cost of healthcare.

As any of us with common sense know, there is nothing free and someone has to pay. As more and more wealthy people move their money out of reach of the taxman, guess who will pay? If you say those that can least afford it, you are correct.

And yes, more Americans will be shifted to Medicaid, even though majority of states will reject its expansion. Here is the problem with that. The significant implementation obstacles HHS faces are now HHS will have to step in to develop and run the Exchanges and the work is unprecedented. HHS did not plan on having to do this work and has no staff resources for the work. The Exchange rules are not even complete and the time to implementation is already very short not to mention the legislation does not authorize funds for HHS to do the work and no way to get the funds passed in congress even though the legislation requires that all Exchanges be “self-supporting” in 2014, meaning yet another tax assessment is coming at us.

What it means is: Massive amounts of taxpayer money will be funneled into subsidizing health insurance, while medical care access will diminish with the reductions in payments to doctors and hospitals.

Again, you are correct that the taxpayer will be paying for those that do not pay because nothing is ever free, someone has to pay. There is no secret about the ultimate goal of Obama and Democrats. They know that ultimately Obamacare will fail by design and Democrats will revive their already stated original goal of forging a single payer, wholly government-controlled system. We know that President Obama wants it. In June 2003, Obama said “I happen to be a proponent of a single-payer health care program … a single-payer health care plan, a universal health care plan. And that’s what I’d like to see.” And we know that Senator Max Baucus admitted in February 2009 that “there may come a time when we can push for single-payer. At this time, it’s not going to get to first base in Congress,” a sentiment echoed by then House Speaker Nancy Pelosi who said “For 30 years I have supported a single payer plan, but our next best choice is to support an exchange and a public option.”

The bottom line is this, I think it’s more likely this spruce goose will not get very far out of the deep water it’s in right now. We shall see after the 2014 mid-term elections.

TAMARA, back to what I said, it is funny as hell to watch Obamacare self derail and why it will happen. These are some of the major flaws in the legislation that are so serious that both Democrats and Republicans will be forced to face whether they want to or not.

ObamaCare is not paid for in any realistic way.

ObamaCare promises what it cannot deliver. In order for the country as a whole to get more medical care, there must be more doctors and nurses and hospital personnel - something that ObamaCare does not create. It also needs more people paying yet there will be less paying because of waivers and subsidies.

ObamaCare mandates and subsidies will destabilize entire sectors of the economy. We could see entire firms dissolve and re-combine, just in response to health insurance subsidies, rather than based on economic considerations.

ObamaCare creates perverse incentives that threaten the quality of care. Within the newly created health insurance exchanges, insurers will profit from healthy enrollees and incur losses on the less healthy.

A weakly enforced mandate will undermine the health insurance marketplace. The fine for being uninsured will be small, relative to the cost of insurance. And there is not much the IRS can do to people who ignore the mandate, other than withhold refund checks.

A strongly enforced mandate would strain almost every family budget. If we are required to buy coverage and denied the right to scale back benefits, choose higher deductibles, etc., health insurance premiums will crowd out more and more of the average family's budget.

So, when the doctors stop seeing senior patients, when the hospitals leave the market (as one in seven will in the next eight years, according to the Medicare Actuary) and when the insurance plans cut back on the benefits they are providing, there will be enormous pressure on Congress to reverse all of this and that is when we will see the single-payer system surface again..

In the meantime the elderly will suffer the most. Obama doesn't give a fig about the elderly and those about to retire. I have many close friends who work in several different areas of healthcare. I know of doctors closing clinics and I know what they say their opinions on the type of care to expect with ObamaCare...it ain't good!

Unfortunately, you are correct and the Democrat party and Obama bin Lenin have no use for the Constitution either.

Remember Obama bin Lenin made it clear he intended to fundamentally change America.
