Dear Ladies and Gentlemen:

Hello, my name is Samantha. I am the daughter of Bishop Caractor and Pastor Caractor. I just wanted to take this opportunity to share my testimony of what it is like to be saved and secure in God as a teenager.

In just sixteen years of my life, I can honestly and truly say that God has saved me from the countless dangers that many of us encounter in this walk of life. God has protected me from a lot of things that teenagers my age begin to encounter and go through every day like gang violence and activity, bullies, suicides, drugs, drinking, smoking, promiscuous sexual activity, alternate life styles (homosexuality), being kidnapped, raped, physical abuse, prostitution, etc.

Being a teenager at this point in time can be difficult especially when you are working toward making a difference in the world by achieving your goals, being successful in life and lead a life that is pleasant in God's sight. It becomes more challenging when you are marked by God and the enemy comes through many forms to try to stop you from where you are going, but God is always there when I need Him.

Knowing how many people are less fortunate then me, I became very thankful to God that every time I needed something even if what something simple like a supply for school or having food on the table, clothes on my back and a place to call home God has always provided for me and my family. I know that I can always depend on Him. It doesn't matter what situation I am going through I can always call on Him when I need Him because He is always right there for me.

If there was ever anything that I have learned in life so far, it is when I call on God, I can always expect him to show up and never be disappointed. I have learned not to expect him to be early and not to think for a minute that He will ever be late, but He is always on time. Being a teenager at this point in time is difficult for my generation and undoubtedly will become worse for the generations coming up behind me, but having God on your side is better than having every human on the planet against you.

God Bless.

Samantha
