My kind?... What is that?.... Human Being or is that too much for a self-professed god of righteousness like you to admit?

Confronted with the truth about my "chosen lifestyle?" .... That is what led to ordination. But, as for whether I am heterosexual or homosexual, that is not "lifestyle." It is personal nature, regardless of orientation one way or another.

And just what is that "chosen lifestyle?" Fortunately or not, I am who and what I am and what I have been allowed to become by the grace of the Almighty. About this, you know precious little, except for what I have written for you to comprehend. But, you comprehend so little of it that much more would just fall on your deafness and be reflected in your condescension toward others.

Mirror? The only real mirror is the person standing next to you. It is not what one sees in a glass reflection.

Oh c'mon "rev. ken". Anyone can register,(or not) and claim to be a "rev". However, Jesus warned HIS disciples not to claim titles, or follow those who do. Plus, there is ONLY ONE TIME in the Bible where the word "reverend" is used; "Holy and REVERAND is HIS NAME", not yours. Look it up, and come down off your self imposed high horse.

Lots of people do register as such. Some earn and deserve the moniker. Some don't. Jesus ordained and continues to ordain His disciples.

As to whether or not I deserve the prefix of Rev., you are certainly welcome to your opinion. But, I am reasonably satisfied that I am qualified to use the prefix and there are many others who agree, not the least of whom is Jesus Christ, Himself.

But then, that might be construed as somewhat of a subjective claim, by anyone who was not present at my ordination into the priesthood. Like Jesus said, "Blessed are those who have not seen and yet, who believe."

Yes. I am aware of these Old Testament proscriptions.

They served their tribes very well.

But, they are not the words or the Teachings of Christ Jesus.

We live in the 21st century. We know and are continuing to learn about ourselves in ways and in degrees far greater than our ancestors, even though the foundations they established were good.

But, some of the old ways are simply, insufficient. They have led to unnecessary, institutionalized bigotry and hypocrisy. Just as an unjustifiable reliance on Mosaic Law had led to the unhealthy interpretations of scripture when Jesus was crucified for bucking that system, reliance on the scriptural exerpts that you have cited above, today, is a misguided defense.
