This is discussing!
A Federal Program calld Lifeline that is cost each and everyone of us if you pay a phone bill. In 2011 369,000 Lifelne subscribers in Oklahoma and Oklahoma paing cell phone companies $122 million in government subsides. Subscribers more thn doubled paying those companie $236 milliom nd after the so calld reform. Oklahoma paid more Lifeline subsides to cell phone companies then anyother stae last year. There re 80,000 free Lifelne phones in Okahoma that 's enough for 1 in 5 Oklahoma to ave a phone. So many that another area codemay have to be add.
Some of these people geting phoes thru Lifeline get a least or more free phones and th law i or themto get only one. There atre sertain guide line to geting these phones and you hav to be homeless or one step above that. In th report the people said they did not care how or who was payingfor these phones because they ere free to them.

I am shocked!!! Fraud in a government run program rammed up the taxpayers woohoo?!!! Say it ain't so!!

Yes it is so! This problem is nation wide but I guess Oklahoma is the worse one on the list to people screwing this government big time. I am ashamed of the Oklahoma people that is doing this and the people letting it happen.

Make no mistake, it's not the gubmint getting the screwing, it's the taxpayers. Check your phone bills, all those "federal fees" and federal taxes are what's funding this phone BS. Harry Reid claims everyone should have access to a cell phone, it the civilized way. What a POS!

Yes you are right when someone screws the government they are actually screwing the taxpayers. It sounds like alot of Oklahomans are doing a bang up job doing just that. One guy in the report actually said he didnot care as long as it was free to him. He admitted he goes back and gets these cell phones all the time and sells them himself.

Nice.. and the gubmint wonders why we are sick of handing our hard earned dollars over to them to squander on BS programs.
