try reading the whole article. He is saying everyone can be saved including atheists.
I prefer to be saved from superstition, than saved from a mythical hell.

This pope seems to say he values good deeds more than other so called religious types.

amazing the hate coming from atheists. Its no wonder most of the worlds population doesn't really care for them. Not because they are atheists but because the vast majority of you are hateful, arrogant, and have that "know it all" personality.
Most of the world doesn't care for atheists but not because they are atheists?

So a more accurate statement would be that most of the world's population doesn't care for hateful, arrogant people who have a "know it all personality"

I can't imagine Benny partially demoting submission to his faith.
Clearly their god has recently changed his mind.

see angel you just distort an article, I call you out on it, and you resort to some other nonsense.

I'm not Catholic and I really don't agree with the pope on most things. He isn't God..he is just a man. You are also not saved by good works.

Really?

Then stick your retarded belief system where the sun doesn't shine.

I prefer to do good works than to be anything like you.

Even the pope is accepting of atheists. I would say he out ranks you on such matters.

In his case? Seeing as he **never** ever has even a single argument?

But instead, simply calls people hateful names?

I would say that Sponge-Bob outranks him, in the arena of facts.

And yeah, I know that Sponge-Bob is just a cartoon-- and isn't real.

That was intentional...

Indeed-- you are not alone.

He does speak in what is essentially barely-readable gibberish.

Seldom, if ever, does he actually write an argumentative point.

Typically, it's just name-calling and other examples of his inner hate.

Saved from... what?

Being molested by your pastor/priest?

oooops! There are millions of young children even now, who were not "saved" from that fate.

Where was your god **then**???

Out playing golf, perhaps?

Indeed: do good, because--well--it's good to do good.

Not out of fear of a bronze-age mythical torturer.

Can you give me an example of how in the hell I distorted and article by sending you a link to it so you could read it yourself?

Anti-Anti does not live in reality. He only exists within his fantasy-delusions.

angel you cited this article to make it seem as though the pope was in favor of atheism and that it had his stamp of approval. You failed to mention the real intent of the article was to say that all men can be saved...even atheists. Of course they wouldn't be atheists anymore if they did become saved. I agree with the pope on this point.

Incorrect, you doss cu*t.

The article clearly says the new pope says that good deeds are better than blind belief.

I cited an article because I thought It was nice to read about someone who, although shares different religious views than atheists, is not a narrow minded, hate filled, petty, bigot.

NOT ONCE DID I SAY THE POPE WAS IN FAVOR OF ATHEISM YOU ADDED THAT!

You said" most of the world's population doesn't care for atheists"

As much as it pains me to do so, I agree with you on some level. There are a lot of people in this world that are EXTREMELY ignorant of what an atheist is or does. Ignorance leads to fear. It is this ignorance that has produced many of the conversations you and I have had in the past. You see me as a god hating individual, who is waging war to convert all Christians to my heathenistic god defying ways through deceit, lies and misinformation.
I can assure you that nothing could be farther from the truth. Especially the war part.

Number of wars waged in the name of Atheism-------0

I'll let you get back to me on the number of wars fought in the name of religion.

My response was to show you that even the pope, is open minded enough to not degrade and belittle those who share a different view. He chose not to name call and act like an ass.

your response,

was to act like an ass.
