October 1, 2013 HHS Secretary, Kathleen Sebelius launched the government website for ObamaCare. Plans available are bronze, silver, gold, and platinum. Please share your opinions of ObamaCare and your experiences.

So far it's not good. The website doesn't allow you to access information to see if you qualify for subsidies until you give over all your personal information and I do mean all of it. Then you can see the plans but I never got to see if I qualified for any subsidies. The plans themselves are expensive and have coverage on things I will never use but I'm being charged as if I would. The deductibles are high and you have a higher premium per month plus co-pay than what I did have before on my insurance which will be cancelled next month. My old policy is no longer available. I thought this was supposed to help everyone and would cost less than my current plan.

It's not what I expected and right now I'm not impressed.

I'm loosing my policy too but I have until December to figure out what we're going to do. A girlfriend and I got on the website and had an awful time with error messages. I phoned and said that due to high volume of calls and of course I didn't get through. How long to they expect people to hang out and wait?

Thanks, it would have been so much nicer if I could keep my old policy because it work for me and my bank account. I'm single and don't have someone else I can depend on. This was an unexpected
problem when everyday I'm wondering if my hours are going to be cut back or if I'm be the one with the pink slip.

I hate the stress.

It's a failure! No wonder our government is so messed up. Can't even imagine how bad it will be if a person had a claim.

O.k. I've been patient waiting to hear what our president had to say today. He told me to call the toll free number to enroll and that the website would be fixed. He told me if I wanted I could still download the application and use snail mail.
Things get delayed in the mail or lost everyone knows that so I thought I would try one more time calling and I get a message "due to the high volume...blah blah blah".

These people had over 3 years how can they possibly think this is normal nothing about this is normal. Websites aren't that big of a deal after 3 years you should have the stupid thing running.

I'm sick to death of politicians jerking us around!

So my new part-time job is trying to get insurance since ObamaCare has ruined what I already had. If you haven't tried to get insurance bring you a bottle of booze ya gonna be there a long long time. A give up empty handed.

Bet the IRS is ready to fine me for not having the required insurance!!!

Brian, I certainly understand your frustration as does another 579 Thousand confirmed customer that recieved their notice of cancellation. Here is the story about them.

I'm posting this on behalf of the Hundreds of Thousand People that could not be here today, lol...

Hundreds Of Thousands Of Consumers Get Insurance Cancellation Notices Due To Health Law Changes...

Health plans are sending hundreds of thousands of cancellation letters to people who buy their own coverage, frustrating consumers who want to keep what they have and forcing others to buy more costly policies. The main reason insurers offer is that the policies fall short of what the Affordable Care Act requires starting Jan. 1, 2014. Most are ending policies sold after the law passed in March 2010. A few are cancelling plans sold to people with pre-existing medical conditions.

7/16/2009 - REMARKS BY THE PRESIDENT - The Liar -n - Chief...
"First of all, if you've got health insurance, you like your doctor, you like your plan - you can keep your doctor, you can keep your plan. Nobody is talking about taking that away from you."
President Barack Obama
Well... until now after it has become law but not a peep out of the White House about it.

But the cancellation notices, which began arriving in August, have shocked many consumers in light of President Barack Obama’s promise that people could keep their plans if they liked them. A Promise that was soon thrown under the bus.

An estimated 14 million people purchase their own coverage because they don’t get it through their jobs. Calls to insurers in several states showed that many have sent notices.

Florida Blue, for example, is terminating about 300,000 policies, about 80 percent of its individual policies in the state. Kaiser Permanente in California has sent notices to 160,000 people, about half of its individual business in the state. Insurer Highmark in Pittsburgh is dropping about 20 percent of its individual market customers, while Independence Blue Cross, the major insurer in Philadelphia, is dropping about 45 percent. Blue Shield of California sent roughly 119,000 cancellation notices out in mid-September, about 60 percent of its individual business. About two-thirds of those policyholders will see rate increases in their new policies, said spokesman Steve Shivinsky.

“The math is inescapable,” said Patrick Johnston, chief executive officer of the California Association of Health Plans. Costs must be spread, so while a few consumers will see their premiums drop, many others will pay more...“no matter what people in Washington say” and regardless of what Barack Obama said many many times. Joe Wilson, a Congressional Republican once told him to his face..."You Lie".
Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.) on Wednesday said his infamous cry of “You lie!” at President Obama has been vindicated.

Consumer advocates say such cancellations raise concerns that companies may be targeting their most costly enrollees. They may be “doing this as an opportunity to push their populations into the exchange and purge their systems” of policyholders they no longer want, said Jerry Flanagan, an attorney with the advocacy group Consumer Watchdog in California. Regence spokeswoman Rachelle Cunningham said the new plans offer consumers broader benefits, which is why “in many cases translate into higher costs.”

Taking a lunch break and I see Heat and his flying monkeys are hard at work dissing ObamaCares today.

I called them flying monkey but what they should be called is by their true names...wingnuts of Death.

Since they seem determined that people shouldn't have health insurance and should just keel over and die....

The Affordable Care Act is not a computer program.

It’s this:

It sets new minimum levels of quality for insurance policies. It eliminates restrictions for preexisting conditions, provides dependent coverage through age 26, and eliminates lifetime caps.

The computer glitches are for the "states’ rights" states that refused to implement their own exchanges and forced the federal government to do it for them. The intelligent states that implemented their own exchanges are doing fine.

Big Surprise.

What is not to much of a big surprise is this graphic how Oklahoma is becoming a state with a ever growing population that are in poverty..

No...we can't have health insurance for them...the greed head's are afraid that they might lose ten dollars of their own Medicare...

Graphic of Students in Poverty in the US school system

Poverty increasing in public schools

Let's just be clear about username 'justaminute' aka Karen Janbaz of OKC and co-owner of Perry's. She is a socialist and ardent supporter of Obama. She doesn't care you guys lost your insurance coverage because now she can have insurance for a pre-exiting condition she has. As many of you already know and have seen, we have a unpaid Progressive Troll using a variety of different names to blast the Oklahoma Healthcare thread with absolute bullshit stories with absolutely no proof of such claims.

Fact is... common sense tells anyone with half a brain that all of those subsidies have to be paid by someone and that someone is all the people that were responsible and had insurance that had been paying for that, will be pushed off of those policies and herded into the exchanges to share the cost in paying for those that the Government has deemed qualified to have you pay part or all of theirs.

The exception is all Politicians and all of their taxpayer funded Staff because what was deemed good for you is not good enough for all of them, taxpayer will pay all of theirs.

In spite of the false claims made by Karen Janbaz aka: Justaminute... the radical lunatic from Perry's Restraurant in Oklahoma City, I am in no way defending Insurance Companies and in fact hate them. Always have and always will... hence the reason I have always paid cash for all my healthcare and I am money ahead.

The fact is Insurance Companies will be Dancing around in the Bank Vaults because of Obamacare. Make no mistake about it... they will make a profit or they will simply quit selling healthcare insurance and only sell insurance for other things such as Life, Auto, Property etc. Healthcare is not their only kind of insurance they sell.

Obamacare is designed to fail just as Senate Leader Democrat Harry Reid said to drive America's Healthcare System into a Single-Payer System regardless of the cost, regardless if the majority of Americans want it or not and then thrown under the bus with the Unfunded Liability as Medicaid etc.

Right now that is around $100 Trillion Dollars. In fact here is what the Trustee's Report said as of 2009. The Medicare/Social Security Trustees Spring Report: A Bleak Future

Unfunded liabilities are especially important in light of the enormous increase in unfunded obligations and cash flow deficits that are about to be added. Currently, about 100 million people depend on Medicare and Medicaid for their health care.

Under President Obama’s new health reform plan, an additional 100 million or so could be enrolled in public and quasi-public plans with the entitlement guarantee that their premiums will not exceed 10% of family income.

The Social Security/Medicare Trustees report shows that we have an unfunded liability in excess of $100+ trillion, about 6 ½ times the size of the entire economy. This is the excess of promises we have made over and above expected taxes and premiums.

To avoid draconian benefit cuts or tax increase in future years we would need to have that $100 trillion in the bank, earning interest today.

But of course we do not because as always happened with the Social Security Medicare Fund... Politicians steal it to buy vote and just leave an IOU instead of creating a budget to pay it back... hence another reason Obama and the Democrats refuse to do a budget.

The $100 trillion figure is based on looking indefinitely into the future. Yet a different way of accounting is to use the method private companies and state and local governments now have to use.

If we halted these programs tomorrow, collecting no more taxes and allowing no more benefit accruals, how much do we owe people for benefits they have already earned? Answer:$52 trillion as of 2009.

In reality, if we stay on our current path, the country will be spending half the national income on health care by mid-century. Yet, the CBO assumes we will be spending only 37.4%, and the Trustees only assume 34.8%.

They offer no explanation about why they think health care spending will inexplicably slow down. The job of the estimators is not to predict what changes Congress will make and when it will make them. It is to show Congress what path we are on so that it will appreciate why changes in policy are necessary.

Let's be very very clear Bud. Karen had insurance that she paid $1,500.00 a month for according to her and because of Obamacare and her pre-existing condition will get it cheaper because the Brians and Hundreds of Thousands will now pay more so she can pay less. You're right, she doesn't give a damn about anyone but her.

If anyone of you disagree with her as I and many others do, then we are everything she has called us over on the Oklahoma Healthcare thread. That is what Karen and her Iranian Husband thinks of all of us, go figure.

IRS is tasked with enforcement of ObamaCare. We know the IRS is mired in political targeted abuse towards anyone who doesn't support Obama's socialist experiment on America. Programs such as giving all illegals the same rights and benefits of a US citizen. In the ObamaCare law is 5 billion initial earmark of taxpayers money to fund healthcare for migrant farm workers and their families. The 5 billion is for starting the program not the additional billions needed to fund it in the future. Also we know that the IRS gave 110 billion in incorrect refunds for the Earned Income Tax Credit to individuals in the last 10 years and today www.watchdog.org is reporting another 4.6 billion of the tax credit checks have been issued to illegal aliens living in this country.

Today is 22nd day of the ObamaCare rollout. Today literally hundreds of thousands of American citizens who have been responsible, paid their taxes and are productive members of society are being thrown into turmoil loosing their insurance coverage for their families because of ObamaCare. They are FORCED to buy insurance which doesn't give the options they need but FORCES them to buy options that they don't need causing huge increases in each families health insurance premiums. Sticker price shock has rocked the working poor and shrinking middle class for those who were able to access the ObamaCare website. People cannot afford what is being force fed down their throats.

643 billion dollars is what has been spent already on this FAILED launching of ObamaCare. That's your tax money folks.

Friday the Obama government released a huge chunk of money very quietly without mention in the main street media press to Pakistan the same government who harbored Osama Bin Laden for 10 years while pretending to help us look for him.

Are you tired of the INSANITY? Remember who fought so hard to stop ObamaCare, remember who work tirelessly to tell you this was bad for America, remember and VOTE IN 2014 to get every single Obama socialist liberal progressive out of congress.

ObamaCare Navigators who 'help' people are not fully vetted before they are hired. It's reported that some of these individuals have criminal backgrounds or are under active warrants but somehow they were able to be hired as ObamaCare Navigators.

One navigator currently working has been connected to a trespassing compliant by the Kansas AG when she along with 4 buses of political activist stormed his residence. There is video being shown on FOX and a few Kansas media outlets.

Like the Kansas AG said protesting in front of his office is very different from going to his family's home and trespassing with 4 busloads of liberal activists.

CONSUMER REPORTS is warning the public to stay away from the website healthcare.gov .

Have you guys heard how many people all across America are receiving cancellation notices from their insurance companies?

OMG in Florida one insurance company cancelled 300,000 can you believe it? Wonder how many people are going to get caught in between policies with medical issues?

President Obama and the Democratic Party told us this wouldn't happen we could keep our insurance and doctors if we liked them. Their stupid website doesn't work, the toll free number is always busy.

This is the worse just the worse. How could Kathleen Sebelius be so stupid?

Finally some brave democrats(who are also up for re-election in 2014)are stepping away from President Obama and asking for a delay in the individual mandate and fines since the ObamaCare website is a disaster.

My concern is for all of those who were notified that due to ObamaCare their existing healthcare insurances were cancelled and no longer available. These families are going to be 'caught' in between without any way to replace insurances they previously had to take care of there family.

This is shameful and wrong and blame should lay squarely on the democrats and President Obama!

Another thing people better realize is there are people working on this website applications which ARE NOT vetted with background clearance but they will be handling sensitive private information of taxpayers. This situation is a pot of gold for exploitation of private information by identity thieves and scam artist.

Consumer Reports is warning people about even going on the site for the next month!

Congressional hearings are happening today and I watched the first segment of the hearings and it's clear CGI has a large part of the 'train wreck' of ObamaCare.

If the website is a complete disaster how in the world does Obama and his ObamaCare supporters expect the American People to have any confidence in the healthcare process? What about processing claims? Will they deny coverage to your family because their 'system' doesn't work properly?
