Yukon Dog Park

Does anyone in Yukon use the dog park there, if so, what is your opinion of it?
Paw Park on Lake Hefner in OKC is fine in cooler weather, but the water is so shallow that there's got to be bacteria growing in the heat. Also there's a grate in the tunnel that feeds water into the little lagoon, and it's piled high with trash. I'm not taking a chance with virus and infection.

I don't use it because my dog is a little too territorial. I did try to go there once but found she couldn't handle the other dogs very well. I didn't care for it because of so many other dogs using it I was concerned about some of them having some of the diseases that are so prevalant in our area. Users are suppposed to sign up, but really anyone can use it. We walk our dog in our neighborhood where we know the people and their animals.

Yeah, that's what I expected to hear. Thanks for your candor. I've actually put playdate requests on craig's list for large active mixed breed puppy, 1 year @ 95 pounds. LOL, I must get her a dog to play with. Paw Park is fine in cooler weather, but not now. Too much risk for bacteria and infection. Very clean, most people are responsible. Right now, given this weather, I don't think any public dog park in this region should be open, unless high in the Ozarks. Just trying to get some relief for the energetic. Thank you.
