i would have shot him in self defense. but if i was armed i would not have pulled over to confront him in the first place.most responsible ccw carriers rarely have to show the steel.what a stupid move to pull over.

A childish fool who should have never been given a license. Hopefull his ability to drive will be taken from him, along with his sword.

This was my uncle. What happened is 2 of my uncles workers were the ones the guy was following and cutting them off. They stopped when he pulled into some driveway to get his address, which was when he smashed the window with the jack. His workers called the cops and my uncle (who was just around the corner). The man went into the house and the workers were waiting for the cops to come when my uncle pulled up to see what was going on when the man came running out of the house with a sword and cut his wrist and fingers. He is going to be ok, and luckily will be able to keep his fingers. A bizarre story... but anywho... this guy is lucky my uncle didn't have his gun with him at the time (which he normally does) otherwise he would have been shot!)

Stupid, Stupid, Stupid. The good thing is that he will have a lot of time to think about his actions while he sits in his jail cell.

Mr. Road Rage needs to spend a lot of time in traffic school if he already hasn't.
He's a fricking menace.
Just look up his records.

What exactly is it about the high desert that spawns this breed of people? Do these characters flock there like birds as part of a terminal migration? Or is it just some phenomenon that effects the DNA of those that move there? Is it the heat? Dust? Concentrations of aluminum and particle board? Drugs? Inbreeding?
Seriously. Anyone know?

I'm not sure why Kwanzaa even left a comment when he knows nothing of the situation. That was Melissa's uncle, I think she would know the story. I as well know what happened seems how my best friends husband was the one the psycho was originally going for. According to the officers Mr. Brinkley is a diagnosed psycho which if that is the case why the hell is he out with the public. I know it's Yucca Valley but come on, the officers know him by name so he's obviously a problem so why is he not locked up? He constantly fly's down the road that keep in mind have children who live their and no the kids don't play in the street but what if he lost control going that fast flipped his car into a yard where a child was playing? I believe that was their intention was to get him to slow down. I love how the paper doesn't print the correct story. There was no altercation, my friends husband wasn't even out of his truck to say slow down when the crazy guy threw the jack through his window! And his friend wasn't stabbed he had his fingers cut off! Thank God no one was killed! I hope this guy goes away for a long time so he can't hurt anyone else!

I do know the story better than the news (and you) would Kwanzaa since my father has been on the phone getting details with Don's wife for the past few days. Just because I live in Lakewood doesn't mean I can't know what's going on, and yes, sadly it is where 4 police officers were killed. No, I don't know all the details.

"Oh my"... is your friends husbands name Sean? I was told he and one other guy were the ones in the truck. I met him on Thanksgiving when we were in Yucca Valley. Seems like a nice guy. Glad he and the other guy are both ok as well.

Also, good news. They said his fingers wouldn't be saved, but they found a specialist who was able to perform a couple surgeries and save his fingers and hand.

That when it time to put the car in gear and run him down. If I saw some one comming with a sword who just through a jack threw a window it time to fight back.

Can't blame the guy.
What really woulda' been funny is if that 60 freeway wheelie idiot cut him off, and the sword wielding fiend got him after the crash!
