Driver, 83, injured in Calimesa carjacking attempt

A Yucaipa man suspected in a botched carjacking dove through a car window Wednesday evening and attacked an 83-year-old man behind the wheel, sheriff's officials said.

more people need to do this....(not carjacking but rescuing). An active citizenry is a great deterrent. If more regular folks stood up against violence and crime, we'd have less of it. Our nation has become too complacent.

So to those who restrained Dewitt, thank you for doing what you should do.
