Does anyone in Yucaipa know how to write, or use anything past 2nd grade grammar? All I've seen here is "ghetto speak". What hope for a good job do these kids have, if they can't even write a coherent paragraph?
Why make assumptions at all? |
Ummm, that would be "passed" second grade.
I cannot get past these posts because I passed multiple levels of college. |
I'm IN Yucaipa, Proud Voter and I can speak and write just fine. Notice most of these idiots are not "IN" Yucaipa, either. But then again, I didn't grow up in this podunk dirthole, too. |

Actually, you're right. I read that in the wrong context and in the way he was saying it past would be correct.

Not all parts of the Inland Empire are bad and it doesn't matter where you move people are the problem, not the location. It's up to the parents to raise their kids, not the city they live in. Unfortunately some parents don't care anymore and the rest of us have to suffer. I appreciate the fact that you classified all of us as Drug Addicts and Gangsters...What's "SoSad" is it shows how ignorant people can be and that my friend is another problem we have to live with. I have lived in the Inland Empire all of my life, I grew up in a drug infested house but you don't see me following that path. People don’t have hope anymore; there is nothing to strive for because everything is handed to them. Why work for things when theft has a faster reward? Why work when you can stay at home all day high as a kite? Why work when you can pop at 20 kids and have the government pay your salary? When the people raising you have no desire to see you succeed how do you expect to learn success? There is a huge meth problem in this country that the government seems to sweep under the rug, until something is done about that the violence will spread and the population will continue to grow those bad people you speak of. Life is no longer valued.(For self or another) The value of life is no longer a priority. People are careless of themselves and others. It’s up to all of us to change that but the only voice people seem to have anymore is behind a computer. It’s all talk and no action. As far as the story, someone lost their life at the hand of another. Regardless of the reason behind it, it's a crime and the person should pay for their crime |

I won't assume, I'll state a face, you are an idiot! |

a 16 year old died and most of you are concerned with grammar. it proves how messed up our priorities are in the world. our priorities should be our families! this kind of tragedies could be avoided by giving our children quality time.

Southern California is an awful place. I have worked around the Redlands area. I have absolutely no idea why anyone in their right mind would ever voluntarily choose to move to that area.

Several hundred Canadians live and work in or around Redlands and Loma Linda. Just like you did. All in their right mind, and despite some crime (which is everywhere, including Canada). Most of them came for higher pay and lower taxes than back in the more socialist country they came from. As for crime, what about Vancouver? Gun crime, drugs, gangs, all rising faster than just about anywhere in the US. To think that it's some clean and safe utopian city is an illusion. The US has its problems, but as someone smarter than me once said, a good measure of a country is by counting how many [Canadian] people want to get in versus how many people want to get out. |
