Witches Cemetary

Can anyone tell me where the Witches Cemetery is located? I know it's in Sutter by the Buttes..can someone give me directions? I'm in a Ghost Hunting group, and we want to investigate this cemetary next. We would GREATLY appreciate it. Thanks so much!

MML I was shown where it was 8 years ago I think its on W. butte.. Not sure we just got back from driving on pass rd to W Butte and N Butte.. we are planning to go back in the day time to see if I can find it.. If I see it again I can remember it.. The one most commonly known as "Witches" is on North Butte Rd. Near Almond Orchard Rd. If you don't look for the red sign, you won't likely notice it from the road.

The cemetery on West Butte Rd. is called "Noyesburg" Cemetery. It is often locked. Sadly, the cemetery on North Butte Rd. has suffered much damage to its historic/ antique headstones, as minors have been intrigued by the cemetery and go there at night. Both are governed by Sutter County.

And as for the other one, EGM, I mapquested Almond Orchard Rd and it's not listed.. do you happen to know about how many miles up it is? Or how far past Noyesburg Cemetery?

There is another one I found noyesburg wendsday.. Is there another one to find I know you call sutter county to find more info and they might let you in Noysburg cemetery..

ok you take west butte rd tell you get to pass raod you turn right on pass rd drive down pass rd tell you see w butte rd again then turn right then drive down west butte rd then the cemetery is on the left its hard to see there is gates in the front with rocks around it and a house next to it withalot of orchards

If anyone is still interested in the witch thing, I took pictures at two of the cemeteries that are near the buttes. The one on the North side is the one that I had been told is where the witch was buried..(I do NOT remember the story that goes with the tale, sorry.) I took a few photos at the one on the north side and then later, we visited the Stohlman Cemetary that is on the south side of the buttes. I'm planning on going back to both of them to document the memorials soon.

By the way, if anyone could relate the tale about the witch's grave, I would appreciate it.. lol, It's just been way too many years since I heard the story and I've forgotten it...
