Does anyone know information about the job corp in kittrell Nc iam interested in going but i have been having second thoughts lately due to the negative reputation that goes along with it so if anyone could help i appreciate it

my daughter went there and turned her life around whenever there are a lot of different types of people and different backgrounds you will hear a lot of stuff but you want to turn your life around you can focus on your change and not on what others have to say about kitrell job corps. the important thing is that they have the programs you need so go for it be there but not apart of the crowd get what you need to turn your negatives into possitives

To Val - you said your daughter went to Kitrell JOb Corp and turned her life around. I am taking my son there tomorrow for a tour and interview. Do you have any advice or suggestions? My son is very shy and NO self-confidence and I am afraid he will not interview well. Any advice or what your daughter's experiences were like at Job Corp would be so appreciated.

I work in the school system and from time to time I have recommended the Job Corp to some students. It is a great program. If you take advantage of what they offer and stay focus, you will be very pleased with the results. It's the only program, other than the armed service that, gives you shelter, feeds you, you can earn your GED, learn a trade, and get paid. If you can't do it the traditional way, the Job Corp is the next best thing. God Bless!!!

went to JOb corp for a interview found our that
they are only they there just ot get a check. The students are not even learning anything and if they get out of hand the administor put the fear fof God in them by sending them back home. I was so sadden by what I saw. No Job Corb
is a bad place.

Hi, I attended KJCC after graduating high school.I loved it! My trade was Business Clerical, I went to the local college through jobcorp and graduated with an A.A.S degree in Business Administration. I received clothing allowances, was paid bi-weekly and also went on great trips. I even worked at KJCC for 3 years and I recommend it to anyone. My advice to people considering it is you need to know what you want to accomplish while you are there and you will achieve it through jobcorps.

my exboyfriend went there it truly is a great expereance with the right ententions my bf was kicked out 4 drug use they have a zero talerence for drug use im thinking about going next year so best of luck 4 u an ur daughter.

Hey I was wondering if they have an lpn program there. It is the closest job corp to where i am and it is still over an hour away and I dont want to be further than that from home. Also can you work while there like on the weekends?

i'm from jax, fla and i move next week to NC to go into the job corp in Kittrell and was just wondering if anyone had been to this campus, is it co-ed? good teachers? nice dorms? how many ppl share a dorm? i heard it can be up to 8ppl UGH!

I have a child that is currently at Kittrell Job Corp. I have urged my child to report these thing, but she is afraid of retaliation. Therefore, I will do it for her. She has explained to me that the other staff there do nothing to solve these issues. The reason I believe Kittrell has a bad reputation, is due to inefficient and immature staff that allow such things to go on and also staff that participate in these things. These are mostly children that are the students. They need someone to stand up for them and remind them why they are there. They can't stay on a positive path if they have negative staff steering them off to the side.

My son just recently went to the Potomac job corp in DC. When he called to tell me he didn't think it was right for him at this time, I was told I couldnt sign him out. My ex husband that hasnt seen him in almost 3 years signed him in...after only a 2 month visit and stopping child support. We both have custody.....anybody have any answers? PLEASE HELP!

to chadsmom tell your son to smoke some weed or take a sick leave and don't go back or just beat some body ass it's not hard to get kicked out of potomac ....and thats not where your son should be i was kicked out cuase i was to drunk to run after some kid was hit in the head wit a pool stick and i didn't tell

Hi! My boyfriend wanted to go to the job corps in d.c. and wasnt sure if it was a good program at this site. Is it a good job corp site?
