Uhmmm, "non-binding" and "voluntary",
these words must be code for
"Increasing the command and control of the UN on our country irrespective of our Constitution and laws."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agenda_21
Agenda 21 is a non-binding, voluntarily implemented action plan of the United Nations with regards to sustainable development. It is a product of the UN Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1992. It is an action agenda for the UN, other multilateral organizations, and individual governments around the world that can be executed at local, national, and global levels. The "21" in Agenda 21 refers to the 21st century. It has been affirmed and modified at subsequent UN conferences.

The UN is an abomination and is out to ruin everthing we in the U.S. hold sacred.
The UN is all about "One World Government" and domination. Heck anything whatsoever that involves the UN and its agenda is all about World Dominance.
Are people truly that blind and ignorant that they can't realize that we should NEVER allow the UN anything to do with our Government and it's Laws.
Our bow-down, kissa** present President does and it has been on his hidden agenda to allow the Ignorant that backs him to assist him in doing so all along. Folks better wake up! It's almost to late!

I have heard conflicting stories about the Agenda 21 Bill. I wish it was introduced in the debates.

It'll never happen because it would hurt all of the politicans that are obviously supporting the UN.

Good indication of its level of importance.

But do not dispair,
it can be discussed endlessly

The Obama administration's new Head of Reproductive Rights has been a vociferous critic of birth control and a staunch spokesman for abstinence. Now he is pressuring the administration to introduce Agenda 21, a bill designed to curb masturbation.
Gov. Nathan Deal said "This proposal of mandatory mitten wearing is an underhanded way of whacking away at the constitution. The 'No Hand Left Ungloved' law is just one more example of how this administration is trying to systematically destroy recreational sex."

When asked her position on the touchy subject, Hillary Clinton said, "I think Americans should be able to masturbate, but they shouldn't enjoy it." Afterwards, her advisor was heard telling her, "You straddled that just right."

Oh please,

If the U.S. ever followed our own demands for democracy and prosecution of international war crimes, Bush, Cheney & Rumsfield, and yes Obama, would be in prison now.

We are "exceptional", haven't you heard ?

We never actually submit to any law we foist on others.

When we illegally drop bombs in cities half a world away, it OK.

When we illegally invade sovereign nations and bomb, kill, and main theirs citizens, it's OK,(as long as that nation is too weak to fight back and we can bribe their leaders to let us).

When our leaders illegally kidnap our citizens, and citizens of other countries, torture them, imprison them, and occasionally kill them, it's OK.

Don't worry your tired little head, the reason why we go another trillion dollars in debt every year is to maintain our War Department and Empire, until of course we are economically destroyed, so that we can illegally bomb, maim, and kill those too powerless to fight back.

If Afghanistan had a nuclear bomb do you think we'd be bombing them whenever the whim hits us ?

If we weren't spending a billion dollars a year in bribes alone in Pakistan, do you think the government would only "protest" or drones killing their citizens ?

If we weren't being Saudi Arabia's "bitch", spending 3 Trillion dollars and thousand if American dead protecting the Saudis from that bad Saddam Hussein, do you think the Arabs would keep selling us oil as we occupy their lands ?

The Emperor is always exceptional and never answers to international justice, that's what a trillion a year in unneeded War Spending and several hundred billion in bribes and blackmail buys.

So, move along, nothing to see here.

The agenda 21 is designed to put folks in small liveable units (appox 300 s.f.) along side some type of mass transit. No auto allowed in the area, only government mass transportation allowed.
no one will be allowed to live in the rural areas, only visit. No hunting allowed, camping will be allowed but stiff fines for leaves trash behind as all visitors are documented and responsible for removing trash, including themselves.

Agenda 21 is also designed to be implemented first for willing folks like Informed opinion and Oh my. They will willingly be the first guinea pigs as theys squeal the loudest for inclusion.........

Yes, IO... we ARE "exceptional", but for a lot more POSITIVE reasons than that one-sided anti-American "stuff" you just listed!!

I'm all for "questioning" America's motives and getting frustrated sometimes, but that was totally negative... you OK?

Received this earlier this month. Relates to the realizations being experienced by those in other parts of our Nation.

It is rather long but provides insight into the shock, and disbelief of the reality and repercussions of this plan upon the sovereignty of State of Alabama and the people of the County of Baldwin.

Yes, its really happening.

For those who might wish to awaken to what is actually taking place across our Country, you may find the time you spend here worthwhile.

For those who only wish to mock, deny or ignore the dangers of the meaning of the new code words promoting the “benefits” of Regionalism, sustainability, and such New Comprehensive Plans: don’t bother to waste your time.

After considering this video; I, in fact, have to ponder --- are our neighbors in Alabama actually smarter than we are?
**********

From our friends in Gilmer County

Commissioners
Senator Gooch
Speaker Ralston

The attached video, relating to the Comprehensive Plan that each county has put in place here in Georgia, shows the action taken, as demanded by the People of Baldwin County, Alabama.

Perhaps every county in Georgia needs to give serious consideration to doing the same.

There is no way we want to even consider Regional Governance. We must maintain local decision-making.

Below you will be able to see American Justice for Freedom and Liberty in Motion ! Here you will see that the Commissioners in Baldwin County, Alabama read and listen to the residents rights to Private Property, and deny a Treaty that was NEVER PASSED BY CONGRESS. This video should be a reflection of the harm to Americans if THIS 'PLAN' is implemented throughout States and Counties across our Nation.

Baldwin County commissioners warn of subversive 'Agenda 21' initiative
Tuesday, June 05, 2012, 3:21 PM
By Connie Baggett, Press-Register
http://blog.al.com/live/2012/06/baldwin_commi...

BAY MINETTE, Alabama -- In a political commentary that sometimes seemed like a tent-revival exhortation, Baldwin County Commissioner Frank Burt held forth for more than 20 minutes Tuesday on the evils of a 1992 United Nations initiative known as Agenda 21 that he characterized as a threat to U.S. sovereignty.

"We are all for protecting the environment," Burt said, "but this is something that has seeped in amongst us. I don’t think we need the United Nations to tell us what to do."

..."This country used to be easy enough for a caveman to understand," James said, a reference to a Press-Register editorial cartoon depicting James and Burt as cavemen for refusing to grant a school board request for a tax referendum. "People need to wake up and take this country back."

...Their comments came in response to a resolution passed unanimously by the commission Tuesday opposing regulations along Fish and Magnolia Rivers that limit the size of boathouses and piers to 100 square feet. Those areas fall within the jurisdiction of the Weeks Bay Reserve — which operates under a federally approved management plan — and are subject to rules passed decades ago to preserve the sensitive area.

...Last month, the Legislature passed a new law meant to shelter people in the state from Agenda 21. The law bars the state from taking over private property without due process.

...Reached later Tuesday, a constitutional law professor at the University of Alabama, Paul Horwitz, described the state law as "purely symbolic" and "meaningless and redundant.."

"There are two lessons to be learned here: public policy shouldn’t be made by conspiracy theorists," said Horwitz, "and some folks need to stay off the Internet."

Horwitz said Agenda 21 "was a set of goals and recommendations for sustainable development, arrived at over years of international consultation under the auspices of the United Nations. The recommendations are not enforceable in and of themselves, although presidents from both parties, beginning in 1992 with President George H.W. Bush, have endorsed aspects of the recommendations."

...As for the new state law, "What it says is that the state and its subdivisions cannot implement or enforce recommendations that infringe property rights without due process. In other words, it says that state and local government cannot do what they are already forbidden to do by the federal and state constitutions," Horwitz said.

Good points. You're right.

We do lots of great stuff overseas that gets overwhelmed by our desire to control the world through military might, even though it doesn't improve life for us in the United States at all, in fact it always ha a negative effect.

The concern seemed to be that we were going to be "forced" to comply with some U.N. mandate, and those examples cited were the most obvious and indisputable examples of how we are never "forced" by the U.N. to comply with anything, regardless of how egregious our conduct might be.

The U.N. will never try to regulate our donating funds for hospitals, building hydro-electric producing dams, funding teachers in poor countries, nor will they try to control how we conduct business within our borders when they don't even try to regulate what we do thousands of miles from our nation.

But you make a good point and it's well taken.
