Went there for lunch yesterday. Pizza by the slice. Absolutely fantastic Margherita Pizza. Buffalo Mozzarella, fresh basil, good crust. When's the last time you had lunch for $4.00.
Give it a try.

If it is the one I think it is, located on Route 515 near Ingles and Home Depot, same side of street.

Tip is right. It is where the bird seed store used to be.

Is it the same people that had the one next to Steve Allison's office a few years ago?

No, this is an entirely different person and business. There is a thread on the new Italian place if you look a little further down.

Thank goodness it isn't the same owner.
The restaurant's parking lot was packed at 6 p.m. when I passed by this evening.
I'm anxious to try it.

I'd be leary about a pizza coming out to fast, are you referring to the time from order to food on the table or time a server takes your order, etc?

Not if the oven is hot enough .... it shouldn't take that long to bake a pizza in a hot oven.

At Sicily's you can watch an entire TV program waiting for your food. Heck I can do as well at home. Reasonable wait time. You shouldn't wait 30 min. to get your order.

toto - how is Dorothy?

As long as the restaurant isn't owned by the owner of the old deli across from the police station, I'm all for giving it a try.

The parking lot is full every night they are open from 5 p.m. on. I'm glad they are doing well.
Can't wait to try it next week.

Had lunch there today and it is by far the best place to eat, good prices, excellent service and the owners are very friendly.
We are going back on Tuesday night for our daughters anniversary.
In case it is helpful, their house are:

Mon-Sat.....11am-9pm
Sunday......11am-8pm
Finally someplace to get a pizza on Sunday that is not Domino's

If you haven't tried the hamburgers at Hot Spot, then you cannot judge .... they are made the old fashioned way and they make their own beef patties.

However, Critic thinks overpriced Chevelle's and Chop House have really good food when it's mediocre at best.

Since I've built real wood fired pizza ovens I know a little about cooking pizza's & yes the actual cooking with a thin crust takes about 3 minutes in a 700+ degree oven but you still have to put the pizza together (which may or may not involve tossing or rolling out the dough depending on how youre set-up) & topping the pie. If someone were to bring me food in a restaurant in a 5 minute time frame I'd be leery they werent using a microwave or frozen product.
