A little bird tell me the mother or a Senior, who also happens to be one of the over paid School Administration staff, was in the high School today pleading to have some of the Superlative choices made by the students changed. Seems the Golden girl didn't like the right list.
That's the problem with letting the students chose. The teachers can't help out. Same way with those SAT scores. Top of the class until faced with a test Mommy or her friends can't help out with.
Face the music. We are everywhere and we will expose you. Do the right thing.

"...letting the students chose"? You've certainly exposed yourself as a moron.

Do the right thing. Choose remediation.

I have no doubt Senior knows what they're talking about. Several of us are not one bit surprised! Just be careful how far you want to take this, on account, I heard a couple years ago the school system keeps a track of these forums and will have everything removed.

Behrens use to he had his tech man do it. If the forum ripped who he wanted he would let it stay on many instances they would start the forums. However if it made him look bad it would be removed.

I had administrator admit to me one time that this website ran the school. They admitted that decisions were made based on what was being said on here. They let it slip they started a survey about an employee to see what would be said and they based their decision on the survey. They are class act professionals.

Same old games played by the same old people. Their whole life revolved around what award they can help their princess win. By hook or crook they will be top in the class, homecoming queen and be anointed the grandest superlatives. Glad someone is calling these horrible people out.

This is what happened.
One of the School Administrations kid was voted "most likely to be twittering." Her mother thought she should have been voted something more flattering. She complained to the Principal and guidance counselor who instructed the teacher who supervises the senior class officers to change it. Ms.Mac told the class officers they would change the twitter award to most likely to play sports in college. A category that was not voted on, or even on the ballot the seniors filled out.
What a wonderful example of how a democracy works. I would love to sit in on a government class at TCHS. Perhaps they could explain how a School board member was "elected" without receiving a Majority Mandate of the voters too. The purse lady got 46% of the vote. That means 54% of the voters in Towns County DON'T want her to be in office. But hey, it's the Towns County way.
This will be how it works from now on. You do the wrong thing and we expose you for it.

one of her two opponents bailed out during early voting so you dont have to get a certain percent when there is only two. it is just who gets the most votes. If you are so unhappy why didnt you run against the puse lady chicken shit.

her votes were thrown out because because she pulled out of the race. There was a sign when you voted that told you that so apparently you didnt vote.

I bet the school administrators kid is real happy that her mother got the superlative list changed to protect her. It's not like every kid in the school doesn't know what happened. People wonder why their kids are so messed up. IT'S THE DUMBASS PARENTS.
The funny thing is the kids get it right. They know who works hard and who doesn't. They know who is smart and who isn't. They know fake people from good people.
This class started to wise up last year at homecoming. They stopped electing the fake people and voted for the good people. The Junior class wised up too. They stopped voting for the fake people who talk nice to your face and then stab you in the back. The 10th grade and Freshmen need to clean their house too.

The reason we have a historian now is because of this parent. She got mad she came in third in GPA and her parents bitches about it so they created the position. It's worked for them for years.

They caved to the pressure and let the kids vote stand. Nobody got hurt. If parents would stay out of it, things will work out. Keep exposing them. It's the only way to make them stop the BS.

Until the people of this county WAKE UP and recruit some "quality" candidates for Board of Education, then let this group hire "quality" administrators who will stand up and do what is right, NOTHING is EVER going to change!!
