<quoted text>I should know by now if I mention a Republican it will be taken as wrong. What I did not write regarding Nixon was Watergate. It may surprise you but I do know he is dead. Yes the Generals had their privates out there didn't they. I guess keeping them at home was just not good enough or just plain enough. I do think the involvement with the Kelly's is strange especially the twin sister. Politics and sometimes the military is very dirty.
Ms. Wood, maam, I know you know that I know , you know,Ole Tricky Richard (I didn't think I should say Dick) is dead. I was just teasing you a little. It did seem that you were saying that Nixon and the year 2000 somehow figured into the this scandal.

It is obvious that some very serious mistakes have been made by two of our highest ranking Generals. But, The biggest mistake of all is that the U.S. Central Command was placed at MacDill A.F.B. in Tampa to begin with. There are way too many temptaions there in an area of beaches, string bikinis, strip clubs and pretty young socialites.

<quoted text> Damn Zoltar, you are mvoing up quick as a favorite to read. I don't even care if you stole the line. Hell, I think General Electric was involved too. Brings good things to life! On another site, someone asked,"what does a social Ambassador do?", my guess is Generals!
I like your General Electric thing...very funny and appropriate.

You are very funny. The entire thing is serious yet with a hint of humor as well. No I really did not mean the 70's and 2000's had any connection, nor was I talking about one Political party vs another. I was only referring to the Watergate and hanging chads dilemnas.
What is a bad thing; the defense budget was cut and when some needed help it was not there and we lost Stevens and others.
I do not know about Tampa FL; but yes MacDill does seem to need an array of social needs so to speak for the military community. Many who work in this day and age in many professions do not have time to be with the rich and famous very often. These are my mysteries of the day: where does Holly Petraeus really fit into this social scene, these Kelly people sure are important and Allen's popularity now that Petraeus is out. Can he be approved for the job.

Where is Gen. Mcchrystal? I think he could be able to handle the job. I think he is a good General. I don't see how any one can look at a general in the way that woman looked at petraeus. I always thought a the job of General was to win the war, and His/her primary cencern should be on his/her soldiers.
