Can,t run a business with a cold near beer in your hand from a.m. to p.m. on a daily basis. Great place to boat to during summer and grab some wings and a drink, just hope somebody with some sort of business sense takes it over. The place was/ is a gold mine for some one willing to run it

So far, no takers. It's track record, as is, dooms it. Too expensive a proposition what with rent and required renovations, given the market. If the atmosphere doesn't appeal to retirees and tourists, forget it!

Too funny. My wife and I always noticed the beer in that guy's hand. I love a good beer myself, but I've never been to a place where an owner or manager or whatever he was always had a brewski in his hand.

Hopefully someone will get the place up and running again.

Shut up, you're an idiot who blathers about anything and everything. Try talking about something you know about (which would be nothing).

Dry county? That's strange, I buy beer and wine and most restaurants in town and Ingles. There is a winery in Youg Harris and I can also walk into their tasting room and buy wine by the case. Dry county?...By the way, a resort does not have to be big and fancy. I've stayed at some damn rustic places and they were resorts. Are you just an anti-alcohol zealot?

You'll have to forgive him - he's an idiot with a single digit IQ and all the personality of dog do-do.

I'm sure he meant liquor, and that can be easily had in Towns, only it's called 'shine. Comes in various kinds of whiskey, rum and even vodka! And it ain't yer grandpappy's 'shine, it's better, totally safe (because Yankees know how to read directions), easier to make (in the kitchen), inexpensive ($5 a gallon +/-) and the best part - it's tax free!

Sing along: "... And there was thunder, thunder over Thunder Road
Thunder was his engine, and white lightning was his load
There was moonshine, moonshine to quench the Devilís thirst
The law they swore they'd get him, but the Devil got him first...." ;o)

FYI - "Portafinoss" (sp) is owned by the same people and serves liquor under the same license as the Ridges. So, technically, it IS part of the Ridges resort.

The others are correct: you really are an IDIOT. I have now lost my patience with you and there is no civility when dealing with you.

A dry county is a county where the government prevents the sale of alcoholic beverages. You can make up your own definitions and be a dumbass all you want.

Look it up at any reputable legal site or any dictionary.

I don't come onto this site very often and I was curious about the Boat House/Yacht Club or whatever it is called. From now on, I'll avoid the thread if I see your name. You are useless for any kind of accurate information. Damn, I hope you really are in Utah and I hope you stay there.
