Actually, Dumbo (you lame brain moron), you're an idiot.

You meant "foresight." Write much, Dipstick?

Mr Paris was a lifelong card carrying conservative. There is no way the tax breaks of Reagan and Bush left these lifelong employees out on the street. I am sure these people are setup for life. I am sure Mr Paris put all or at least most of these tax breaks back into his employees. At least ownership in the company or stocks or maybe cash.

Do not worry, these folks have been living the conservative dream. God bless your faith in consevatism.

He lost a LOT of money on the Bank of Hiawassee failure. He lost a LOT of money when builders who he had carried did not pay what they owed. His business was built on the construction business, its all but gone. He was the main driver of sucess in Hiawassee and Towns County. He was a very hard working smart man, who lost a lot at the end of his life. Am sure he planned for his employees, don’t know if that plan survived the Bush depression or not. As for his faith in conservatism, the end result tells a sad story.

Don't know if it's true but didn't he co-sign for part of the mortgage on McConnell Baptist Church?

When his wife died it seemed he just stopped caring about anything.

Mr Paris knew how to treat people. Asked about things which matter. Then get down to business.
When we moved here to Hiawssee. Mr Paris met us,asked us about our family and asked"what can we do you for". This is how to do business.

They have serious financial problems. They have lost their line of credit with several suppliers.

What will happen is anyone's guess.

Looks like we will be driving to Blairsville to get a bolt, screw, or anything else that we might need.

Maybe, but the House Ways and Means Committee led by Rep. Dave Camp, R, 4th Congressional District of MI actually did the deed. LOL. He got re-elected, probably so he could deliver the final eulogy this coming January as the country goes over the fiscal cliff.

Unfunded obama care will be the final blow to our economy. Sad but true. Many will be surprised at how far we will fall. Dems have no intentions of dealing with entitlements.

These views expressed on the economy are the result of listening to Fox News et al.

You guys are too myopic.
It all started in 1913 and the booms and busts since then are carefully contrived occurrences that always result in a more centralized fiat money system.

This will not stop until there is a one world bank with the puppet masters in full control of the worlds economy.

Rep. Louis McFadden –(Chairman of the House Committee on Banking and Currency) quoted in the New York Times (June 1930)

“(The Great Depression resulting from the Stock Market crash) was not accidental. It was a carefully contrived occurrence….The international bankers sought to bring about a condition of despair here so they might emerge as rulers of us all.”

Rep. McFadden testified in Congress (1933). There were at least two attempts on his life by gunfire. He died of suspected poisoning after attending a banquet.

Read about the history of The Federal Reserve and open your eyes.

There is a fine line between conservatism and being complacent in our lives. Also a distinction of being self rightous versus rightous seems to be a problem.

Do we find answers in our education. Do we find ways and means within the church.
