It has been reported that the out going administration's command staff did intentionally damage property, erase files etc. Should they be prosecuted if these allegations are true?

If True, then YES, and not only that, but it should be a priority. If true. You can't keep restarting the system without hitting the accountability button. Thats just ignoring the virus and allowing it to keep spreading. 1st step should be to clean house, hold accountable.

Not only should they be prosecuted for this but for their other activities as well. Those that were involved in filing fraudulent pay sheets, misappropriating county funds, etc. should be charged as well. Once this department is cleaned up then other county agencies should be investigated as well. The coverup of stolen funds from the Rec. dept. needs to be thoroughly checked out once and for all. I believe the new Sheriff has the opportunity to finally make this a decent community for all the people.

Who will be policing the rest of the community while the current administration is investigating the former administration? Sorry, no time to patrol too busy digging into the past.

You sound like someone who might be worried about investigations. Wonder what you did? P.S.- The Dept. of Labor is in Blue Ridge.

Wrong again, genius. I am retired and a grandmother. And anyhow, I wouldn't think that the present SO would be the most objective investigative arm of justice to investigate. That's what the GBI is for. Try and stop assuming that everyone who has an opposing viewpoint is a former employee of the SO.

Hey! Aren't you the officer who ticketed me when I made an illegal left turn, jumped the curb and ended up in the Burger King drive-thru?

If you recall, you arrested me for assaulting a Whopper. Cost me $50.00 and I was banned from Burger King for life.

So you admit that you have no real knowledge of the inner workings of the past administration. Why are you so against investigating corruption in this county then? People like you are the reason the past Sheriff got any votes at all.

Do I have to have inner knowledge to see that the current admin. has no business investigating the old SO? Vendettas are not justice plus it is a colossal waste of tax money. Additionally, I have worked in LE so it ain't my first rodeo.
Plus if you are so full of....knowledge. What did you do in the last twelve years to bring the evil doers to Justice? This didn't happen overnight and there has always been a GBI, an FBI and a Dept. of Justice.

Yeah, You dashed into the BK trying to blend in with the other Whopper eaters.
Banned for life. SAVED your life I did. No fat no cholesterol.

And if you only knew how well things are covered up in this dirty, corrupt little county you would realize what an asinine statement you made.

Sounds like it could be. You would think he would keep a low profile considering what he might be in for.
