What a blessing we have in Young Harris to have the great Zell Miller here. Men like him are "purt near gone", too....a family man of honor and of good moral values who stands up for what he believes, who spent his life in service to America and yet remains humble.

Couldn't agree more. My Grandma always thought the world of Zell and Shirley. She always thought alot of Zell's Mother as well.

ATLANTA 8-11-09,- A spokeswoman for St. Joseph's Hospital says former U.S. Sen. Zell Miller is improving after being hospitalized last weekend for shingles.
Amanda Rosseter said Tuesday that Miller is in stable condition. She said the 77-year-old was put in the hospital Saturday because he'd had the painful rash for a few weeks and was unable to recover fully.
Miller was in the Senate from 2000 to 2005. Before that, he served at Georgia governor from 1991 to 1999.
