I'm not calling, I'm writing Walmart HQ, with a copy to the local manager and a copy to Ms. Dyer. I'm sure Walmart wants to keep the clinic there; it's good PR and revenue. If the clinic fails because of poor business practices on the part of the "tenant"... well, I'm sure they don't want to see that happen!
There is no point in writing anyone @ Walmart...they rent that space out & have no control over what they do. Just like the Redbox machine...

Our insurance, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, will not pay for hospital lab work .... you have to go to an independent lab such as the one at Riverstone in order for them to pay .... they should have informed you that the lab work done by the hospital would cost extra and the fact that they didn't is 'false advertising'.
walmart is a pro at false advertising

My wife has used the clinic at Walmart several times. Other than some wait time issues, she has been very happy with them. And especially the care she received from Beth Dyer. She found Ms.Dyer to be totally professional, helpful, caring and kind. My wife is never really happy with her doctors, but she certainly thinks the world of Beth Dyer.

<quoted text>Thank you for the "warning" about the clinic at China Mart. When I heard it was to be run by UGH, I, personally, needed no other information to know that I would never go there.
You are right when stating that "UGH was an OK hospital".( Key word being "was".) Now they are just a money maker and don't give adequate care or have knowledge of how to give appropriate medical care.
I understand many like UGH and the care they receive there. All I can say is "those" that sing the praises of UGH have never experienced real quality health care. I personally wouldn't take anyone to UGH, even for basic first aid, as they have possibly one of the worst ERs' I have ever been to. Can't say much about their nursing staff or Doctors either. Some are "OK", but most are ignorant and don't have a clue as to what they are doing.
Best think twice (or three or four times) before trusting your family or loved ones to UGH. Don't say you weren't warned.
Hi "Know First Hand"... just a quick note here to echo your thoughts about UGH.

Based on first hand, multiple experiences with my parents through their ER, they are extraordinarily poorly managed and often do NOT provide reasonably adequate care. Like ANY big place, there are SOME good docs and conscientious staff... but I can't see how they would stay very long given the WEAKNESSES in their administration personnel and senior management.

Sadly, UGH is a monopoly in this County and, therefore, has no incentive to improve or try harder.
