I am in full agreement with you. AARP primary purpose anymore is the almighty dollar, to h**l with the Seniors they are suppose to represent.

Well, bro, the three networks ABC, NBC, & CBS along with CNN have brainwashed a lot of folks down thru the years. FOX News come along and threw a monkey wrench into their world of journalism.

Another point, there are thousands of Capitalist that are Democrats. They vote democrat. So, just cause someone is a capitalist doesn't automatically make them a Republican FOX News watcher.

There are a number of stories/issues, etc., that together provide the bigger picture of things. What's happened to the USA's economy as well as the rest of the free world can be shared by both sides of the isle!

JFK was smart enough to know that the economic engines of this country fair much better with less government and less taxes!

The left wants to make a society that depends on government. When all the money is gone, the whole darn thing is going to colapse. You and everyone that reads this forum knows at least one person on the draw (welfare or some other public assistance) that is able to work ...... they had rather take a monthly check from the Government ......... tax payers!

Don't know who you are "talking" to,but I will answer.

I take care of myself, no govt. help here. I have land, no kids, and therefore don't qualify for ANY breaks. I pay school tax because I am forced to as part of taxes.

I also don't live with my parents. I am totally self-sufficient and proud of it!

Most can't even begin to appriciate your pride, I'm in the same boat. But our taxes just went up today, The House has passed the "mandatory healthcare" bill today. Now you and I are, from last check, employed or not, must purchase at minimum a health insurance plan of $15,000 per year, to cover those "less fortunate". We are about to be officially taxed for simply breathing. Very sad day for freedom lovers. I just hope the shit isn't hitting the fan right now...

As usual, me and you are penalized. We pay for abortions, welfare, school taxes. We pay numerous other taxes, because of irresponsible people in the USA. WE are the ones who should be, and have a right to be PISSED OFF.

It is absolutely un-Constitutional to mandate the purchase of products or services. Freaking scary times. Exactly ... they did not take a survey from their readership .... the board voted to okay Obama's healthcare plan .... also you have to remember that AARP sells health insurance. AARP is no longer the caring spokespeople for the over 50 crowd that they once were .... it's all about politics and money to them now.
