Is there any kind of business that can thrive, vs. survive, in Towns County?

A thrift store or Mexican restaurant would be great. Lawn care and roofing businesses are really needed. We always need another lawyers office. Or a fruit stand. Perhaps a breakfast restaurant.
Fun World is closing soon I hear, maybe a roller rink and video game parlor. Meth labs and pot farms seem to do well if they are run by friends or former band members of the Sheriff.
Home repair and carpentry by unlicensed and uninsured people is allowed if you are friends or relatives of the building inspector.

You are a dipshite moron usually, but you have this one right! The community is going down,Inept leadership.brainless elected officials. It reminds me of S.Africa in the late 70s early 80s when dumb voters were allowed to elect their leaders. Also look at the City of Atlanta when the mongrels were left in charge! We have flushed the toilet and everyone is going down.Towns Co.is no different. We are the norm.for the socialist/welfare county/state.Vote for me and you will be OK BS.....(aka.BK]...So,correct my grammar teacher, and we will let everyone know who you are....PS...You were a good teacher, but i think you could serve this community better by being honest and helpful. You do not have to kiss ARSE any longer.

If "Olympic Angels" was a teacher, and a good one as you say, that pretty much explains why Towns County is in the crapper.

The economic plight Towns County is in is like the weather; everybody complains but no one can or will do anything about it, not the Commissioner, his appointed Tourism Board, the Tourism Board or the Chamber of Commerce.

They all like things just the way they have been for decades, and to hell with everyone else - is that their thinking?

If it's the one I'm thinking of, it's now another Mexican joint. The one in the same strip mall that was called Frog or Foggy Bottom isn't going to be around long either.

Actually, Dumbo, your disability is mental, you long ago "forefeieted" all ties to reality, and your shoulder hurts from pounding the keyboard and your pud.

Can't disagree with that!

Although the "bed-tax" pays for their advertising, it is nonetheless a private business and "we" have no right or authority to demand changes because one, they don't care what we think, and two, they're going to do things their way until the lights go out and checks start bouncing.
