I agree. If more folks would watch msnbc and late night tv they would be far more informed. Those folks never lie and they are completely fair and balanced.

When Obama said, "you didn't build that" he was setting the table for a wealth tax, the same wealth tax Hillary suggested a few years ago.
Argentina did these things some years ago and is still bankrupt.

Obama was actually making a comment about how business relies on government to make business work. Roads, airports and the postal system to move goods around the world, to name just 3. I have a business that without our road system would not exist, like a lot of others wouldn’t without government. And what’s funny to me is you have to dig all the way down to Argentina to find comparisons that works for your theory!!
Please don't let facts stand in the way of your hate for Obama and the poor in this country. We all are paying a higher tax to the feds than any other time in our history. And that money goes to poor people who pay no tax. That’s what Rush tells you, and FNC doesn't bother to call a lie a lie. If you have any interest, which I doubt you can read about how much tax we pay compared o the roaring 80's. We pay less federal tax and more state tax taking the value of the dollar into consideration.
I know its not being reported by the fair and balanced news network so it can't be true, bull.
Like the fact that we will be the largest producer of oil in the world in just a few years, thanks to fracking. That fact doesn’t fit in your program of hate and doom either.

Check the tax code nitwit, before you spout off here. 50% of Americans pay no federal tax. 50 million are on food stamps. obama care is UNFUNDED. obama is building his base by handing out freebies. Lazy uneducated Americans follow him like white on rice. He is a socialist in the purest sense. Half the country has no sense.

Religion
Main article: Religion in the Soviet Union
Raised in the Georgian Orthodox faith, Stalin became an atheist. He followed the position adopted by Lenin that religion was an opiate that needed to be removed in order to construct the ideal communist society. His government promoted atheism through special atheistic education in schools, anti-religious propaganda, the antireligious work of public institutions (Society of the Godless), discriminatory laws, and a terror campaign against religious believers. By the late 1930s it had become dangerous to be publicly associated with religion.[88]
Stalin's role in the fortunes of the Russian Orthodox Church is complex. Continuous persecution in the 1930s resulted in its near-extinction as a public institution: by 1939, active parishes numbered in the low hundreds (down from 54,000 in 1917), many churches had been leveled, and tens of thousands of priests, monks and nuns were persecuted and killed. Over 100,000 were shot during the purges of 1937–1938.[89] During World War II, the Church was allowed a revival as a patriotic organization, and thousands of parishes were reactivated until a further round of suppression during Khrushchev's rule. The Russian Orthodox Church Synod's recognition of the Soviet government and of Stalin personally led to a schism with the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia.
Just days before Stalin's death, certain religious sects were outlawed and persecuted. Many religions popular in ethnic regions of the Soviet Union, including the Roman Catholic Church, Eastern Catholic Churches, Baptists, Islam, Buddhism, and Judaism underwent ordeals similar to that which the Orthodox churches in other parts of the country suffered: thousands of monks were persecuted, and hundreds of churches, synagogues, mosques, temples, sacred monuments, monasteries and other religious buildings were razed. Stalin had a different policy outside the Soviet Union; he supported the Communist Uyghur Muslim separatists under Ehmetjan Qasim in the Ili Rebellion against the Anti Communist Republic of China regime. He supplied weapons to the Uyghur Ili army and Red Army support against Chinese forces, and helped them establish the Second East Turkestan Republic of which Islam was the official state religion.

obamas second term will include trillions more in debt, more gridlock in DC, more division in the country, more poverty, more food stamps, more taxes, less military, more confusion abroad and inflation. The very people who elected him will be paying more and becoming more government dependent. Government dependency is the goal for dems.
Any and everything having to do with money and taxes is the responsibility of CONGRESS, namely the House, specifically the Ways and Means Committee chaired by Dave Camp, R, MI. THEY provide the money and the instructions (laws) on where it is to be spent!

Cut spending? Reduce the public debt? Since you're so anxious to place blame, point your finger toward Congress.
Nice try

obama care will be the single largest unfunded entitlement ever. obama is the biggest spending president of all time. With nothing but failure to show for it !

Obama may be "the biggest spender of all time" but Congress (beginning with the House Ways and Means Committee), of their own free and collective will, provides the money, funded or unfunded, with SAs and ABs (in the form of laws) which WE (or our children, and their's and....) must pay for.

I know it's difficult for some people to grasp but the President CAN NOT simply "do something," for instance Obamacare, and send Congress the bill after the fact. It doesn't work that way. The President can say what he'd like to have (in the budget) but it's up to Congress to say what they'll provide in the way of tax money. If the President doesn't like it, tough!

God help us if what you believe is the way things are done in Washington ever comes to pass!

Dems passed obama care alone. No input from republicans, remember ? Taxes ( medicare ) and fees from health providers among many other taxes will be required to partially pay for this debacle. No one yet knows how much it will cost. safe to say Trillions. It will only serve to send us further into debt because it was not well thought out.

True, but authorization to pay the difference must still come from Congress and that can be written out of a budget.

Will Congress repeal it? I doubt it. As it is written, thanks to the insurance lobby, the insurance industry is free to charge whatever they want, pay for whatever they choose to, cap coverage and so on, something the Republicans demanded, and got, in exchange for not blocking the bill.

It started out to be a good program, but along the way special interests eviscerated it.

Another reason: Payroll with-holding accounts for 32% of all the money Congress collects, and they want it for other purposes, NOT the ones (SS and Medicare) it's intended for. The government - us - owes the Trust fund around $2.3 trillion dollars, so far.

Another reason: the insurance industry is powerful!

Here's another part of it: under the original version of "Obamacare," a person could not be denied coverage because of a pre-existing condition when he or she changes jobs nor could they be charged a higher premium. Except for the higher premium part, it's still there BUT, the insurance lobby had their lackeys modify the rest of that clause, striking out the wording about a lapse in coverage due to unemployment or changing jobs so when either event happens, the insurance industry (the carrier) has the option of either refusing to cover whatever the pre-condition is or charge a significantly higher premium OR they can refuse to insure the person, forcing them to turn to the government for health care coverage, in effect skimming the cream off the top, so to speak, and leaving the state taxpayer to foot the bill through Medicaid when it isn't profitable for the carrier to do so.

Like that arrangement? The health insurance industry sure does!

There is no money sitting around to pay for it. Taxes will be raised, for sure.

Republicans had no ability to block the bill as Dems were in control of congress when passed.

Could there have been a better solution ? Yes. But this was clearly a one sided law/bill that the dems drew up alone, without clear funding.

obama has handled his entire presidency in a unilateral fashion which is why many on the right can't stand him. He has made many mistakes along the way. For dems to trumpet this law as a success is way premature.

This country has been trying for over 20 years to put in place a health care bill on a par with the rest of the world, we now have a starting point.

You claim 50% of Americans don't pay income tax. That number is high, but even if it were correct a large portion of that number are retired and on SSI. That number is growing because more baby boomers are retiring and getting SSI. The second largers number are the working lower middle class and poor. A small percentage are the bums you love to hate, nowhere near the number you portray.

The right can't stand anything or anyone who doesn't agree with them.

Republican House leader Boehner is in the process of fixing that problem and is removing conservative republicans from his House Committees.

Boehner has tried for 2 years to work with them and couldn’t. He now knows that is not possible and is moving on. The Tea Party conservatives had a chance to make a difference, but refusing to work with others has secured their fate.

You need to move on.
