Sodium Fluoride is what they want to dispose of in the water supply. Calicum Fluoride is the natural element, there is a difference.
Any label about fluoride tells you to NOT swallow it, and that it acts in a topical manner, not systemic.
PROZAC, or Fluoxetine holds some same elements as Sodium Fluoride.

If you believe that Nazi camps existed you will then believe that fluoride was first used in those camps- why would Himmler care about teeth if he was going to gas those Jews and rip out their gold teeth?

Because the nazis treated the Jews like lab rats for science experiments so that they could improve healthcare for the 'aryan' people. The sick sobs.
There has been a deep debate as to whether this information should be used in today's science feilds, as the information was garnered in the most unethical way.

Bottom line is, this should be a matter of choice. If people want to drink fluoridated water, then buy fluoridated water. But no, turns out that if Arcata and Mckinleyville wanted fluoride, they might have to pay for communities that don't.

I suspect this is why the Humboldt Water District backed off on fluoridation:

It became known that they couldn't force communities to pay for fluoridation that had voted against it. Once Manila voted strongly against it, it might well be that Blue Lake would.

They didn't want the pro- fluoride communities of Arcata and Mckinleyville to have to pay for Blue Lake and Manilla's fluoride. At least I'm guessing that's what happened.

Shame it wasn't simply the result of the HBMWD deciding in favor of individual choice in the matter. Those of you that want fluoride, buy your own fluoridated water!

Humboldt is a collection of kooky lunatic fringe. Everything normal is bad and everything kooky is good. Wacky conspiracy theories are embraced while common sense is condemned. Diversity is touted by leftists who all look the same , dress alike , repeat the same bumper sticker philosophy , and hate anyone who disagrees with them. I'm planning my excape before the kookyloon wackiness becomes contagious.

60 people in Manila voted for fluoridation while 160 voted against it. That's about 50% of the voters even caring enough to vote. My guess is that 50% of those who voted don't know how to read. 25% thought they were voting for American Idol and another 10% thought they were voting someone off the island.

Tooth decay, the next great diet fad.

Look past the brainwashing and do some research! There is no real proof that the toxic waste fluoride from aluminum and fertilizer industries prevents tooth decay, there is also vast evidence that this toxin van cause devastating and irreversavle effects on health, definitely not worth the risk, cancer, fluorosis and hyperthyroidism and mental disorders aren't so hot either. Why would you believe that people should be mass medicated through their water supply? Maybe if they added some Prozac and Ritalin to the water they could obliterate depression and ADD, same concept. If fluoride is so important for you to swallow every day toothpaste is inexpensive and full of it. It should be everyones choice what medications and supplements they add to their diet, forced medication is not the answer especially when these "medicines" Carry so much risk.

Perhaps many of you are uneducated that fluoride is a chemical, mixed with others, used in the Death Camps, during WWII. It kills braincells and actually burns your gums...and can lead to AUTISM. I think I would rather go for a filling than brain damage, Thank YOU. This Liberal applauds the decision to dump Fluoride.

Those that think that fluoride put in the water is the same as naturally occurring fluoride found in soils are wrong. Calcium fluoride is naturally occurring, sodium fluoride is the waste product of the chemical fertilizer industry.
The latter is what is put in municipal water supplies. It is a neurotoxin.
