I think we should hear the dogs side on this matter.

I have watched Kristen Stebbins take a very timid dog and mold him in to a great police dog over the last two years. He is loved by her family and everyone he came in to contact with. Please Judge Kuhn be the compassionate man I know you to be and allow Kristen to keep Poket as a family pet and live out his remaining years as a beloved house pet.

Please do everyone a favor and find something constructive to do with your time!!! You are a waste of spece to say things like this on this site!!!! Sheriff Muller has done a GREAT job with what he has to work with - you would have no idea because I'm guessing you are not that intelligent. The previous Sheriff was a JOKE and that's why he was ousted!! I'm also guessing you have no idea how the real world works!! It is not a PERFECT world out there!! I have known this Sheriff for a long time and he has values and integrity and I think it is a shame that a "Gelwicks former G-bug Boro Cop Twin" can cause this much problem - and I'm sure most poeple remember her!! Making false claims to get what she wants!!! The female seems to cause the problem and and cost the money in frivolous lawsuits!!! I sure hope neither one of them ever work in law enforcement again!!
GREAT JOB..hardly, he has wasted more time and money on things unrelated to his job. With what he has to work with..puhleese..if it worn't for the people in his office his ineptitude would really show..values and integrity..he wouldn't know what they were if they hit him upside his head..he is a liar and a sneek.. a user and abuser!

You are entitled to your opinion!! But you sure have a lot of hatred in your post so I and anyone else would question your true motive - especially since you have several posts here - but the statement of what he has to work with in no way was about his employees - it was about not having enough people to do the work and budget strains!! Maybe you should not be so bitter !!

Not sure who you really are but would like to find out!!! I guarantee you don't have the balls to say any of your crap to Sheriff Muller's face!! It is real easy to get on here (as you do often hmm???) and lip jack over things you don't know!! Sheriff Muller is a long time family friend and I hope I never find out who you are - because he has more integrity than you ever will trust me, he is a leader and can handle more than you could ever think about so when you decide to come out of hiding behind your "Deputy Dawg" post - maybe then you will prove you are a real man!!! I doubt it!! But thanks for you ignorant message- Remember he was elected by the people and the people of this County do not like the mud-slinging that some like to do in an election so think about that come election time!! Have a Nice Day !!!

I have not problem with that as long as she pays something for it - It is not her Dog and the money was donated to buy it long before Kristen came along - and why does she get to decide to retire the K-9 ???

How sad!! You must really be a pathetic person to write a post like this!! Unless you know the whole story you should keep your "opinions" to yourself!! And he is not cheating anyone out of anything - maybe you should check out the story again because obviously your little mind couldn't understand the whole thing!!! Read it again!!

Donate: verb (used with object)
1. to present as a gift, grant, or contribution; make a donation of, as to a fund or cause

I donate blood regularly but don't expect to be paid before the Red Cross gives it to somebody.

Quite different - read again - the people of the county donated the $$$$ to purchase the K-9 - if it is NOT RETIRED then it stays to where it is donated to!! It wasn't donated to the handler!! Example: people donate to the Goodwill - but they in turn sell the items to people who need or want them!!!

She needs to focus on a stable environment for her kids, let alone all these animals

This is the way environment is spelled. Anyone that truly knows this officer knows that she is a wonderful mother. You must be the bitter x that can not let go.

Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned.

Okay, lets see how people feel on MY opinion. She was a K9 officer, look at everything she has been through with that dog. She has done major drug busts, found people who other cops can not or would not go after. AND also took him into a loving home.
I don't think she has put the dog into any type of harm, and she has been there for him every step of the way, just like he has for her. They are the perfect two. He has protected her just like any brother or sister should in the department, but wait...who was there when she went after the ARMED robber? Yes, Poket :)
She should be able to keep the dog and everyone bashing her should get off her case. People these days have no respect for the men and women of law enforcement. When the sheriff said that he was going to put the dog down, that is just like killing an officer. Some people see the dog as just a DOG, but she sees him as a partner who has gone through hell and back with her. They were together looking for the gun that killed David Grove, days of searching in the cold, the rain, and hours of non-stop dedicated searching for something that took another officer's life.

What, are you saying that the dog is just an old shirt that can be passed down to anyone as long as they are willing to pay? I THINK NOT! The dog is a German Sheppard and they are loyal companions. The dog really should have only had 1 owner, but the former K9 before Kristen quit and couldn't take the dog. Now Kristen has him, and he is happy and loved by his family.:)
