Linda was a close childhood friend of my mother. They remained friends throughout the years. Linda was a kind woman who certainly didn't deserve to die in such a horrific manner. My heart goes out to the remaining son, who has lost his entire family in one moment of rage.

Grew up with Trav & Troy.. My opinion the parents were good ppl. Us kids would hang out the house and jam out in the garage. I will keep the family in my prayers. Just a few years back I hung out with Trav and his parents as we checked out the new and approved basement...Such a sad and heartbreaking tragedy. Rest in Peace Linda & Trav..Troy you are in my thoughts now and always...

Please explain to me why it was necessary for the ES to put in any criminal record about the son. He was the one who was shot and killed. Not the other way around. IMO it was totally NOT necessary!!

It amazes me that there are those on the earth that do not have compassion for others . There are things that are said on these post that are so cold, hard and mean.Thoughts & Prayers to all.

When did you crawl out from under a rock? Calling Hanover the Baltimore City of York/Adams county...have you never read the paper before to see all the shootings that take place in York! If you are Hispanic, then your better selection IS York Springs!

From a insider all I have to say is this: Linda was a beautiful woman who didn't deserve the years of heart ache she had, she didn't deserve to die!!!!!!!!! And Travis was a lost soul on earth who was bound by drugs, he didn't deserve to die!!!!!!!! Both are in a better place now where Linda is in the arms of Jesus and Travis is finally at peace. Unfortunately the REST of us who loved them has to stay behind and deal with this loss. Which still feels impossible. This blog is for respect, not deciding if white people live in York Springs or if Hanover is the New Baltimore. If you have nothing respectful, or intelligent to say then SHUT UP

I think Travis is in the arms of Jesus also! He had a big heart. Linda was such a kind loving person also. God must have needed them more than we did.

I knew Travis from school. He was good friends with my brother. I don't remember alot other than Travis and his dad came over to our house and bought my suzuki 80 dirt bike. Travis loved that. I pray they are in heaven and at peace. A moment of terror yet an eternity in heaven.

I worked with Linda, was one of her customers, and considered her not only a friend but a mentor. I was shocked to hear what had happened to her, that puts it mildly. My heart goes out to Troy and his daughter (the love of Linda's life)and everything they have endured this past year.
