Kirsten was a beautiful and very intelligent young woman. This is very unfortunate. I will be praying for her family and Toby. Please keep them in your prayers.

This is a tragic event for all involved. My only question is this: Is the only reason that they are prosecuting this man because they don't approve of his lifestyle?
To quote the chief, "Even if you've done this before, you have to know that someone can get killed." This applies to playing in the pool, driving a car, or any other "normal" activities. But, since the chief called this "perverted" sex, then I guess it's okay to persecute this man.

Does it matter what I'm into? Not really, but yet, you call me a freak. I may think that your vanilla lifestyle makes you a freak. Does it? I mean, get real. If you have a woman dressed in regular clothes standing next to Betty Page, who are most guys going to pick?

If I'm in a certain lifestyle, who are you, or the police, to judge?

They were a great couple. and He still is a great man. It is tragic... They loved their jobs at the pizza place and loved each other alot. He shouldn't go to jail when it was a mutaul thing.

i know them person ally through their business and i can assure everyone for a fact that he loved her very much and that this was all an accident. everyone is expiermenital these days, maybe not to this extreme but its true. look at today's modern pornography and you will see these things. the newspaper has a problem with stating overdoses in the paper because its "offensive" but as soon as someone has a freak accident everyone is quick to jump and spread their business. everyone who critizes toby or kristin should be ahamed of themself. imagine if you accidently killed your wife or husband accidentily in your home, you would have to live with that accidential loss and a forever guilt cloud. i hope that he gets out because this is a total accident.

Tragic.
If someone's gonna do this kind of stuff, they should have been using isolation transformers and current-limiting resistors. You don't just put a live 120VAC line across someone's chest!

Obviously you can get killed doing any variety of things. Having sex doesn't normally kill you. Playing in the pool and driving a car doesn't normally kill you. But, using electricity on your own body while having sex, holding someone under water for a long time/being intoxicated in a pool, diving into the shallow end of a pool, driving while you are under the influence, speeding, behaving recklessly, can all kill you. It all goes back to the intelligence and decision making skills of people.

I hate hearing of this. What a tragic waste. Obviously they allowed their kinks to travel beyond what is called SSC (Safe, Sane and Consentual). Variety may be the spice of life, but with such spices come responsibility. He was negligent and had evidently not thought out nor researched his ideas. And the result was tragedy where someone lost their life. My only hope is that others learn from this and that it is not repeated.

This man must face the consequenses for his actions, but also must face the demon which now resides inside him as a result of the death of his wife at his own hands.

know both of them. I've known them for years. To see them together they laughed, joked, smiled, were loving...honestly a great couple. I'm sorry this horrible thing happened. What they do/did is their own business. I'm sure he is mortified that this happened. I'm sure the outcome was not death. My thoughts and prayers are with both of them and their families. Just remember that no ones is perfect. We should not judge others. Thinking of you Tody. Rest in peace Kirsten.

Get a life, "Ummm-Why", and break out of your repressed, mentally stagnant, politically correct world of "if it feels good, do it", burned out, "progressive", "enlightenment"!

They were ignorant and so are you and the whole idea that we should not "judge" others' foolish behavior.

Who are you to insinuate that this was an innocent "accident" before the investigation is even complete. Just because you might be into weird stuff, why do you insist on normalizing behavior that is obviously dangerous? Anybody with half a brain could figure out that this is reckless and even life-threatening. A tiny bit more so than playing Marco Polo in the hot tub!

Now someone has lost a wife, parents have lost a daughter, and maybe a child (or children) are without a mother, and so on. For what???

Let this be a lesson to all of you running in the "Alternative Lifestyle" crowd.

"Not that anything is wrong with that", as the great philosopher Seinfeld once said... Well, maybe, sometimes there might be something wrong with that.

May God bless the poor woman's soul and may God forgive that poor, perverted man's soul. Hopefully they and there loved ones will find peace someday...

Dude, you really thought this one out! I admire your ingenuity and hope that maybe, just maybe, you might have saved a life of any others out there who are into this "Lifestyle" with your recommendations.

I might add that duct tape over the mouth might make it difficult for the person being electrocuted to yell the agreed upon "safe word" to stop the madness. I add these recommendations: 1. No Duct Tape on the Mouth and 2. Please Have a Safe Word.

All you people crying about privacy - it's only gonna get worse, anyone can get all kinds of information about you online right now.

If you know what's good for you, demand privacy to be taken more seriously. I predict that privacy will be the next "Civil Rights Movement" in the years to come...

Please see
http://www.privacyrights.org/netprivacy.htm
for more info about how to try to protect your privacy and identity.

This feeding frenzy you see above is a mild example of the future, people.
