Where is a copy of the contract posted? Let us see what they are asking for. To see if management is as greedy as Harley Davidson is.

They only offered 10% raise each year for a 4 year contract, I hope the union turns it down.

Seems as though we had better get "JohnDoe000069" immediately involved in the negotiating process! With his experience in worldly affairs, not to mention his brilliance, a strike WILL certainly be avoided. John, where are you when we so desperately need YOU??? As per usual, lookin' forward to your solutions!

BAE needs to move that R&D and Engineering operations. They are lazy over paid slackers that think everyone owes them the world. They send 3-5 people on a road trip to watch the people their assemble a prototype when they would have bee more productive staying behind and doing real work. WOW - Did I say "Real Work".

There should not even be a comparison with Harley other than the fact that management wants it all. BAE builds government contracts, not a retail product. We are talking about a company that is made up of a huge workforce of veterans who are building a product for our service men and women serving our country. Most of the workforce at BAE are veterans of the Vietnam war down to some still on leave from work serving today. These workers are not asking for a huge pay increase or outrageous benefits, just a package that fits into todays economy and makes life livable and able to pay medical bills and keep our homes.

The company never offered us a 10% per year offer, the actual offer was $0.00 and an increase to our health insurance premiums by as much as triple of what were paying now

I'm here as requested. Bust the union and shut it down. Also think how to get rid of all this state's unions we wouldn't be one billion short. Yes let's pay a bunch of greedy jerks to stand around all day.

Cry me a river BAE folks. Go on strike, follow your corrupt union leaders. Unemployment is a great thing, till it runs out. Imagine, have to pay more for YOUR health care. Must suck. No raise for 2 years? Poor baby. I went 3 till I was downsized, after 23 years. And I ACTUALLY worked, unlike you union lazy folks, spoiled brats.

How am I being greedy per week my health insurance cost 48.00 for my family now the company wants to raise it to almost 130.00 per week without giving any type of raise, and thats just for medical you will have to pay seperate for dental and vision. thats just one piece of what the company offered, no one here is being greedy we just want whats fair.
And johndoe as far as a bunch of greedy jerks standing around is something we are not, everyone works we are always on schedule. As far as busting the union i dont see that happening.

Keep in mind folks it's hard to make an informed opinion with out all the info. No matter where you work you have workers and you have slackers. All in all if the work wasn't being completed on time the management wouldn't receive their very nice bonuses. They do not make it easy to achieve this goal. Sitting in an office making decisions without getting off their butt and actually looking with their own eyes to see what it takes to get it done. Efficiency is NOT one of BAE's strong suits. Yet they still are very profitable. If they would have offered the same contract they probably would have had no problem. You never go backwards, and that's exactly what they offered. This isn't Harley. You have no idea what it takes to put a track vehicle back together. Especially after it has seen battle. The troops know and that is who matters the most.

That's right the troops are the ones that matter. Our guys at BAE work hard everyday to put these vehicles back together with a lack of parts and having to make adjustments to make a top quality vehicle to go back ourt in the field. AGAIN no raises over period of contract and huge health care increases. If you don't work for a UNION good for you but keep your mouth off of the people who do.
