This will be section 8 apartments 2 years after it opens. Another disaster for West York. Get that free money, oh yes, it does run out.

What does "one third paid for with multiple county loans"? Is the county loaning money to the developer? Or is the county borrowing money to become a part owner? Either way we loose.

WYSD will become just another YCSD! There goes the neighborhood! The rats keep movin' further and further out until all will be one huge ghetto!
Look what happened when their tore down the row houses to build a parking lot across Princess St. from YHS. Rats were dispersed throughout the city. Keep 'em all in one area then call an exterminator...naw, their own brothers are doing a pretty good job.

If your talking about those on section 8. I wish you wouldn't categorize and judge. Sweety I work as hard as you and I'm a full-time student with a child at that. I never complain about responsibility, because I thrive on it. It just so happens that this so called "rat" fell on a bit of hard times. I don't want to take the assistance, but I'm being wrung dry as it is and for the time being its needed. By this time next year I'll be a graduate. Have already started looking for better job opporunities in my field that are very promising. Within a year or so I will be fully un-dependant on any state assited aid of any kind. As I see it there is nothing wrong with recieving a bit of help when needed as long as you are aware nothing is free and you must do and continue your fair share. See all of us aren't living off the system or thinking of it as a career rather than a temporary situation. I hear scathing remarks all the time about Sect. 8 and/or welfare people being this or that. Hell the guy that lived down from me paid out of pocket completly every month and was still a sadistic piece of human feces. I want my child to grow in a safe neighborhood same as any parent. Long to send her to the best schools and own my own home one day; a product of my blood, sweat, tears and hope!I've already gotten this far and I will go further even if some label me as un-tutored or ghetto lol w/o knowing that underneath it all is an actual person with hopes, dreams, determination and a damn good mind despite where I've come from or what I've been through. And definatly w/o stereotyping me for the cluelessness of others of my area. "Exterminating" people like me is like detroying the diamond in the rough.

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Cancer

The question of who and what you should believe is never far away today. Someone could easily mislead you, although it's a moot point whether they do this intentionally or not. Or there could be a communication glitch that means no one knows what's going on. Be very careful when handling money because there could be lots of silly mistakes, and if you're really unlucky there might also be some double-dealing too.
