There are more high value targets than TMI. The plane
many say was shot down In PA was probably en route to the
Capitol or White House.

If a concern do what the military does to hide a potential target: learn the times of satellite overflight and mask or move the vulnerabilities for the time involved. If too frequent then build a facade that hides the real reason for the object being present.

Most satellite images of military installations, nuclear power plant and other facilities are not up to date. That is a fact from pictures I have seen from the base I use to be at. The satellite image of it was just updated and the picture is 3 years old. It replaced one that was 7 years old. The government will not release current images of sensitive areas for years. It was one of the major concerns with the Google live map images.

Do like the Soviet Union used to do and put out fake tanks, rocket launchers, etc.

Who publishes this garbage ? Aren't americans sick of this "terrorists" fear mongering. If you gave "terrorists" (which don't exist) a month inside a reactor they could do nothing. The reator steel vessel is 385 tons, under about 20 ft.of water; 50,952 fuel rods 12.6 ft long, 0.375 inches diameter (yes); 90 tons of uranium oxide. If you could by magic pull a rod out of the water - you're dead. A reactor can't be made to explode.(Chernobyl 25 yrs. ago was unsafe by design) Three Mile Island ? No radiation escaped, no injury of any kind, the greatest radiation exposure anyone could possible have received was/is 1/6 th of that you get from a chest xray at your doctor's office. Read the NRC TMI report. Aren't you sick of yellow dog lying "journalism" ? I was with the INEL team that briefed much of Europe & Neatherlands on reactor safety.

great post. i can't blame people over concern for everyone's 'safety' but you're right on the mark when it comes to the journalistic effect. IF you want to call what the YDR/YD publish as being 'journalism'. You have been marked as an obstruction and threat to their profession.......

Right, let's just make it as easy as possible for the terrorists.

Will the U.S. Government use "shaper pictures" as
an excuse to grab billions of tax payer dollars?
Most nuclear plants are 30, 40, and 50 years old.
They leak and are embrittled from the radiation.

Nuclear power damages your DNA forever. It has
caused worldwide epidemics. Everyone eats, drinks
and breaths man-made radiation since the first
atom bomb "test" in 1945. No one is immune.

Feel safe now!
