Richard had not been drinking and speeds were not high. Don't report what you didn't see!!!!

They didn't report he'd been drinking. Speed can be established by physical evidence such as skid marks, locations of impacts, witness statments, etc. What I saw this morning, admittedly from a short distance away, did not look lke the results of a low-speed crash.

If we were to report "only what we see" there would not be much reporting going on. That is the job of a reporter, to report based on releases, interviews and witnesses.

I went on the web because I heard of the accident in town. From what I have heard, it appears the man driving the pick up, in whatever state he was in, was driving neglegently. Remember, there was an innocent young boy KILLED as a result of this.

i live right off of the street that it occurred of (chino hills pkwy.) and to the looks of it, he must have been going faster than the speed limit becuase there were plenty of skid marks on the street and the truck was totalled.

PLEASE if it was "just an accident" and no one was neglegent, then the investigation would not have gone on for HOURS. I was turned around last night on my way home.... And when I left for work this morning just after 8, the investigation was STILL going. Condolances to the family that lost their child. May God be with you.

I saw the accident right after it happened, It was one of the most scariest looking car accidents I have ever seen. I thank GOD for being behind my wheel and watching over my family. I was about 2 minutes in front of these cars.. that could of been me and my kids..they were asleep in the back seat... My heart goes out to these people.

"he that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone..." St.John 8:7 If you have driven beyond the speed limit, reached behind your seat, talk on your cell phone, adjust your radio, open your glove compartment for something, driving tired or even angry from a verbal fight with a loved one at anytime while driving, you too are guilty and your time may come when you may take a life. Should we show you mercy or forgiveness,or should we label you a monster? If Christ has a place for young Mark Ruelas, Rick Hamilton nor any one else can take that opportunity away on the Great Day when He returns... May Jesus comfort and uplift the Ruelas and the Hamilton family.

REGARDLESS OF HOW THIS ACCIDENT HAPPENED,IT'S IMPORTANT THAT WE ALL PRAY FOR BOTH FAMILIES. I WOULD LIKE TO ASK FOR A SPECIAL PRAYER REQUEST FOR ERICA & ELIZABETH CHACON/CHACON FAMILY FOR STRENGTH & UNDERSTANDING.
I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THIS HAPPENS TO SUCH GOOD PEOPLE, TO HAVE LOST A BROTHER 3 WEEKS BEFORE LOSING HER OWN SON. BUT AT LEAST WE KNOW THAT ALBERT IS NOT ALONE AND COULD NOW HAVE LITTLE MARCOS BY HIS SIDE LOOKING DOWN AT SUCH A WONDERFUL FAMILY.
IN LOVING MEMORIES OF ALBERT CHACON & MARCOS RUELAS
YOU WILL BE MISSED BY MANY...
YOUR COUSIN ANGIE R.

Does anyone ever stop to think that there is more than one family involved here? I understand that the wife of Richard had lost her Grandfather just 13 days before the accident and a friend just a week before.

We are all guaranteed 2 things in life....that we will be born and that we will all pass away. God has our plan for us before we are even born.

Tragedy is hard on everyone involved and many people are suffering. Please just pray for them all and may the Lord be with them all.

God bless you Richard and Marcos. May you both rest in peace and not let your families be bothered by all of the stories and comments from others, may they be true or not.

You are both very well loved and missed by many and always will be.

Anything and everthing happens for a reason wether it be good or bad or stand understood. All paths in life are already determined and cannot be altered. Regardless of how this happened it is obvious that noone was intentionally killed. I am sure if Richard had lived through this tragic accident he no longer would continue his life knowing that this childs life was taken. The body you have is borrowed as you are never promised tomorrow. You must live life for the one's you have lost. Never are they gone...they are always with you, just in other ways. Therefore, you must live with them in your memories because soon enough you will all meet again. My condolences reachnout to all who were involved and may God be with you.

No need to cherish luxuries cause everything come and go
Even the life that you have is borrowed
Cause your not promised tomorrow
So live your life as if everydays' going to be your last
Once you move forward can't go back
Best prepare to remove your past

Stanton boy dies in Chino Hills crash
Pickup driver crosses divider, killing the child, 9, and himself.

By JOHN McDONALD
The Orange County Register

A 9-year-old Stanton boy was killed in Chino Hills late Thursday when a pickup went out of control and hit the car he was riding in, officials said.

The accident occurred shortly after 10 p.m. on Chino Hills Parkway near Pipeline Avenue.

The San Bernardino County Coroner's Office identified the youngster as Mark Ruelas.

Also killed was Richard Hamilton, 50, of Chino Hills.

Hamilton was the driver of a 2004 Ford F-150 that was eastbound on the parkway when it hit a curb for an unknown reason and crossed the center divider, entering the westbound lanes.

Hamilton's truck hit a 2002 Honda Accord head-on, and the boy was ejected from the car and died at the scene.

The boy's mother, Erica Chacon, 25, drove the Honda. She and three other children in the car were taken to hospitals and are expected to survive.

Hamilton's truck subsequently hit a Toyota Solara and a recreational vehicle. He also died at the scene.....

Losing Him Is So Unexplainable...Kinda Like Life Is!

He Was Born Into This World...Fulfilled What Take's Us Selfish And Complaing People Over 50 Year's To Fulfill.

But Monkey Did It All In Just 9 Wonderful,Cheerful, And Loving Year's.

He Had The Gift To Make Anyone Nomatter What That Person Was Going Thro. Forget Their Problems And Just SMILE!!!

Well Atleast That's What He Alway's Did For Me.

I Can't Ask God Why? I Can't Begain To Try And Figure Out...What Was Destined To Happen Even Before He Was Born.

He Came, He Brought Joy, Laughter, And Love Into The Heart's Of Many...

So Now It's Time For This Family To Come Together Now More Then Ever...And Carrie On His Legacy...Why Have We Forgot The Simple Thing's In Life? Why Do We Worrie About Thing's That Never Mattered Before? What Happened To Our Time Together? Where Has The Love, Joy And Laughter Gone? We Can't Forget Where We Came From. We Have Overcome To Much To Lose It Now. Pray For Our Family...That God Will Unite It And Make It What It Once Was...

I Speak From The Heart Of: Juan,Alicia,, Jeanette, Sarah And Anthony RUELAS.and all of our family...you always said why is all this happening 2 our famiy well you dont have 2 worry anymore your in a better place ...ill miss you...but why wene you were so young
