I'll bet his wife is not buying that whopper. Politicians are the lowest form of life. From both corrupt parties. I want to see what the people who believe this excuse look like.
What a clown.

I didn't do it. They all read from the same book when they get caught. Another scumbag politician that got caught. He is sorry. The only thing he is sorry about is that he got caught. Didn't Michael Vick use that same line.

Too true. The dems are pretty worthless as well, but not nearly as delusional as the repubs.

It just reconfirms my thinking that we cannot trust ANY elected official, of any party affiliation, at any level of government.

When will be be favored with candidates who actually are truthful and willing to do real work for the people without feeding at the public trough and wallowing in it?

Oh, Mikey. You're soooo busted, please stop trying to "explain" yourself. You're just another hypocritical Family Values proponent that has been exposed in a blindingly satisfying and hilarious way. If you were in fact making up stories, you're still in hot water with your family for "fantasizing" about other women, and being so openly crass about it. But even if we buy your new story, you're in deeper STILL trouble about the fact that these woman you're "storytelling" about are employees of energy companies, presenting a profound conflict of interest and egregious ethics concerns...

But sweetie, anyone over the age of three is not buying this new hooey. Now please, go away!

Anger at corrupt politicians is appropriate and natural, but what disappoints me is that there is no corresponding anger at the corporations who use money and sex to buy the policies they want from our legislators. It takes two to tango folks, how about prosecuting some corporate officers for their efforts to corrupt our government?

What a clown.
That's why when you hear a candidate say that he believes in family values, that he goes to church every Sunday, that he's against gay marriage, and he's for honesty and so forth, PLEASE DON'T VOTE FOR HIM!!! Chances are that he's a phony and a fraud.

I mean, you guys fell for Mayor Villaraigosa and the guys in OC fell for Mike Carona. I tell you that the cheapest dates in politics are the family values voters. All a candidate has to say is that he believes in family values and the numbnuts would automatically vote for him.

They've long disappeared. They're now bought off by the unions. The unions, not the politicians, control the government. The California Teachers Assoc., the prison guards union, the labor unions, the trial lawyers union,.... They control California, not our elected officials. That's why it's imperative that we stop voting for tax increases that fund the bloated pensions and salaries of state workers, gov't workers, and the union workers.

This story is not over. Mike Duvall was on a very influential California utility committee. He has many close friends including Mayor Villaraigosia and DWP GM H. David Nahai who invited him to speak at the DWP Recycled Water panel discussion last year. Losing his Assemblyman office because of an open mike eye patch panty story belonging to Sempra Energy employee and lobbyist is just the tip of the snow pack. How many others from our Assembly know this lobbyist and who goes to lunch with her? How did they vote on the issues? What committees are they on? Not much got done from the Assembly this year and we all know why. They were taking power lunches and lingerie shopping. Corruption and graft is rampant. It seems most of our male politicians live a vicarious private life.

It will be interesting in the next month to see if Attorney General Jerry Brown looks into this scandal and uncovers the truth. We have corrupted leaders who manage our water and energy in the State. Could our lack of water be man, woman, money made and not Mother Nature’s lack of snowfall? The bottom line is taxpayers and ratepayers suffer.

I agree with you. I say, totally dismantle the practice of lobbying! Textbook corruption and "pay-to-play".

But Mike The Spanker still deserves every ounce of ridicule and disgust that he's getting.

the people of his district who voted him into office are responsible for this guy, not the corporations or lobbyists.

Voters need to STOP passing the blame.

We elect the same A== Clowns into office election after election. Sometime they just have different names.

99% are scum.

The electorate is to blame.

Daily Horoscope for December 28

Pisces

This is another good day to be tactful, and if anything you'll be even more successful than you were yesterday. This is not to be sneezed at, so seize the opportunity to talk to people who can sometimes be very touchy or who need to be handled with kid gloves. If you meet someone who's older or more influential than you, you'll be a big hit with them.
