People are investing thousands of dollars buying these $8.50 hamsters and add ons (12$-20$)!!! These are the people that completely RUIN if for the children and parents who are simply trying to make their children happy with that special toy they want most of all. I CANT WAIT TILL the stores are flooded with these items on Black Friday, these people are sure to get what they deserve.

You can get them at $8 from Amazon.com if get them when they are in stock by Amazon.com and not third party sellers which are very expensive. An $8 Zhu Zhu Pet Hamster from Amazon in-stock, sells for $50 or higher from some of the Amazon 3rd party sellers.
Try this tool which lets you monitor the moment it becomes available online on Amazon.com 's stock. It works much better than the email notification programs that email you once an item is in stock - by the time you get the email and check on Amazon, the item is sold out again. With this tool, you monitor an item on Amazon in real-time, and as soon as Amazon restocks the item, you get an alarm. Then you jump in and scoop up the item (at Amazon's retail price) before they sell out again. Kind of like jumping to the front of the line. It has worked really well for me.

Sooo...TRU by me has been out, but they said I could come the morning of the next shipment and wait. Well, rather than wait in the cold at 6 AM with 200 other moms, I decided to search around online.
I actually ended up using GoGrabber.com to get one of the hampsters. My mother in law told me about it- she uses it all the time I guess. What it does is "watch" items for you on Amazon.com and alerts you when Amazon gets new stock in- meaning their OWN stock, not the stuff that third party sellers try to sell at super inflated prices. I like it because it's actually FREE, and they don't make you sign up for all sorts of "affiliate offers" or anything bogus like that. It actually worked great- I was in the kitchen doing dishes, heard the alarm, logged in and bought it! Can't say I see what all the fuss is about over these things, but at least I don't have to buy my daughter a real hampster now! LOL

Wow! It's been so stressful trying to find these Zhu Zhu pets but I went to http://www.backinstockalerts.com and they alerted me as soon as Amazon got them back in stock at the real Amazon price and I had bought them within 1 minute. There's nothing like jumping the queue.
