another idiot. i don't care if schools or clinics give out free condoms. they don't need to be prominently displayed as the first thing you see when you go into 7/11. families go into this store. families with young children will not buy homes in places that the residents don't care about the quality of life.

I wonder what post number 44 said? Are you really going to continue this issue? What will bring families with young children is a school that provides a quality education without constantly raising taxes. A school that checks to verify the students do actually reside in a legal residence, not just use grandma's address. A school that does not allow kids to wander or hang out. A school that punishes bullying, fighting, cursing, cheating, truancy with escalating discipline, instead of meaningless detention.

<quoted text>the rights of the residents? I was unaware that all the residents of MBV wants the village to have the waterfront. Because to me it looks like a very smaller group of people lead by Gary wants the waterfront so they can develop it. How about this...have the village put it to a vote at this years election. If the majority wants the village to have the land to develop it, fine. If the majority wants it left alone and in the hands of the MBPOA, fine. Let it go to a vote. Stop the bullsh!t by saying the "village is protecting the rights of the residents by suing the MBPOA". We all know that's a lie. The "village" is looking to destroy the waterfront not protect it.why else would Gary denying the "residents" funds from the state by turning the waterfront into a green zone? He's protecting his wallet, not my rights.
If you read the current news letter, there is a survey with many questions to the public on idea's that were compiled earlier in the year by an independent who was not in lock step with the village government. The questions are not misleading and do not seem to be designed to polarize the submitter into a for or against development stance although there is one question that specifically asks,Should the village adopt a waterfront development plan. There is also a question wither restaurants and marina's be developed. So fill out the survey and "vote". Be tolerant and be grey.

yes to all of those things, but the little things matter too. my elementary school aged children do not need to see that when we go into a store. if i were shopping in a 7/11 outside of my own town, and i saw this, i would not go back. towns/villages that attract young families to BUY homes care about these things/

<quoted text>you are really stupid. if you ever hope to attract a better class of people to buy into this area, then things like these condoms have to go. it is important. and, by the way i have spoken to the manager of the 7/11. he told me that since there was a high school across the street he liked to keep the condoms there to attract the teens.
Excuse me but I would like to suggest you go to an area close by that you consider affluent, walk into a convenience store, look at the register area and tell us what you see. I'm not saying its right or wrong, just come back and tell us what you see.

I suggest you picket the store. You should organize all your friends to boycott the 7-11 if you feel so strongly about this. Do you really think your elementary school age kids even notice, all they care about is slurpies and the candy isle.

the village sent out a survey of what to do with the waterfront that THEY DO NOT OWN> this type of survey should be sent out if the village gets the waterfront. it is kind of like if i sent out a survey on what people would like to do to YOUR property that you own. it is at best unadvisable and worst intrusive. the survey is really just a smoke screen anyway to let people think that they will be part of the decision making process.

Which ever name you are using today, you can tell it to the stenographer. I have succeeded in irritating you and your other names. What I post would not bother you, if it was not hitting so close to home.
